Ch. 3

I heard a knock at the door and pulled away from Keefe

I opened it to find Lihn

"Hey Lihn." I said, confused about why she was here.

"Soph, I need to talk to you." Lihn said and gestured for the stairs, ignoring Keefe who was by my side.

"Okay...." I said and Keefe gave me a strange look before I walked with Lihn upstairs and into a bedroom.

"So what's up?"

"After I tell you this, you can't freak out. I mean he was probably just tired or something." Lihn said and I raised an eyebrow.

"Who was? What happened." I quickly questioned her.

"Fitz, and hold on i'm getting there." She said and took a deep breath.

"So, last night when I stayed the night at Biana's house, I went to get the water in the middle of the night and Fitz was in the kitchen." She started and grabbed my hands.

"And...?" I asked and Lihn locked eye contact with me, then squeezes my hand tighter.

"He tried to kiss me. I pushed him away of course, and I refused to go with him because I would never do that to you and I  knew I had to tell you, please don't freak out." She quickly rambled and dropped my hands.

I held my breath. How could Fitz do that to me? Especially since he always gets mad about me hanging out with Keefe. He tried to cheat on me, its not okay, tired or not. I didn't kiss Keefe because I knew it would be wrong, and it would hurt Fitz.

I felt tears come to my eyes. I hate him, I hate him so much, how could he do this?

"Sophie?" Lihn asked me and grabbed my shoulder, I let out a small whimper. I looked up at her as tears ran down cheeks.

"Aw, soph, I'm so sorry. He is horrible. He doesn't deserve you." Lihn told me and pulled me into a big hug, I hugged her back then pulled away and wiped my eyes.

"Thank you for telling me." I said.

"Excuse me." I squeaked and walked out of the room, I tried to dry my eyes as much as I could when I was walking down the stairs.

I walked up to Keefe

"I need you to stay calm about what is about to happen and I will explain later." I said and then walked out to the front yard.

"Fitz, I need to talk to you. Please come to Havenfeild right now" I transmitted.

Without even a reply back, he was standing right infront of me.

I grabbed Fitz's arm and dragged him into the other room.

"Are you alright?" Fitz asked and I rolled my eyes, no of course I wasn't alright.

"What is going on Sophie?" He asked, it took everything I had to not slap Fitz right now.

You tried to kiss Lihn." I said quietly and I heard him stop breathing, he got tense and tried to reach for my hand, but I harshly pulled away from him.

"Is it true?" I asked, Fitz didn't say anything, but after a little while he nodded.

"Why?" I asked, I wanted to scream at him, but it wouldn't fix anything.

"Why would you do that to me Fitz?" I begged and wiped the tears from my eyes, I could tell he felt horrible. He wouldn't look up from the floor, and he seemed as if he was going to cry.

"I'm sorry, Sophie. I'm really, really sorry." He tried to hug me but I backed away. Sorry wasn't enough, I was done with him, he's put me through too much. Fitz had screamed at me, sprained my wrist, made me feel so bad about being close to Keefe, and then cheats on me.
