Keefe immediately called Elwin, who quickly leaped to where we were.

Elwin had my glove off and my sleeve pushed up so he could examine my wrist.

Meanwhile, Keefe was pacing from wall to wall.

"So how did this happen?" Elwin asked and I started to speak but Keefe beat me to it.

"That son of-" He started but I cut him off.

"I fell." I said and shot daggers at Keefe with my eyes.

Elwin look between Keefe and I and sighed.

"The real story, please, Sophie." Elwin said and I bit my lip.

"I fell and Fitz grabbed my wrist to stop me, he just grabbed too hard. Not that big of a deal but Keefe is mad but that is all that happened." I lied and Elwin shook his head.

"If that's what you're going to go with, then fine." He said and set my wrist down.

"It was sprained." Elwin announced as he poked at my bruised wrist, making me wince.

"He sprained your wrist!" Keefe exclaimed and paced over to me and Elwin.

"I'm going to kill Fitz." He muttered as he pulled out his leaping crystal. I grabbed his arm with my non-injured wrist, making him look down at me, his eyes were full of anger.

"Keefe, it's not his fault. It was an accident, remember." I said and Keefe rolled his eyes.

"Right." He said

Elwin started wrapping my wrist with gauze. I winced and Keefe took a deep breath. "If he ever does anything like this again, I will hurt him." Keefe told me, with all the seriousness he could muster. "And I'll let you." I said. Keefe looked into my eyes, searching round for something, I don't know what it was.

"Alright, miss Foster, you're all good to go! I healed ur wrist, just take the bandage off when you feel like it. Now, I would suggest taking a break from Fitz for a while. You won't be able to leap for a few days, but you can teleport just fine." He said and I nodded slowly, Keefe looked at me and shook his head, knowing what I was going to say.

"Thank you Elwin." I told him and he smiled then got up and left. When he was gone, Keefe looked at me.

"Don't even say it, Foster." Keefe started but I did anyway.

"I have to talk to him, Keefe." I said softly as I stood up and reached my hand out to Keefe, the non-injured one. He hesitated, but took my hand.

I led him out to the balcony attached to his bedroom, it was three stories up, not very tall but I had just enough time to teleport, since I was getting better at teleporting.

"Let's go." I said and Keefe helped my onto the railing, then climbed onto it himself, he grabbed my hand once more.

"Three." I started and Keefe squeezed my hand.

"Two" I said and Keefe took a deep breath, then closed his eyes, I did the same.

"One!" I yelled and threw myself off of the railing, dragging Keefe with me. He started screaming, and I pictured Everglen's front door. Keefe yelled louder.

"Foster! The ground is getting closer!" He yelled and I concentrated on the picture I created in my mind.

"SOPHIE!" Keefe screamed just before we teleported.

Then we were standing on Everglen's doorstep. I looked at Keefe, who had terror in his eyes.

"We were so close to the ground." He said and shuddered.
