Chapter 3: School Life and a Friend

   2 Years passed from the eventful night. Inko's investigation was still ongoing even after all this time. People who accused her were doing whatever they can do to keep her investigation going. The mother and son knew this is just someone's twisted game to take everything they have. In this passing time, Inko's rank went down dramatically from 17 to 83. She lost quite the popularity on the polls because of this damned investigation. Her loyal fans were still defending her while Izuku doing his best to help her. Like everything happening isn't bad enough, All Might has started throwing shade on to his ex-wife as well. Him being the # 1 Hero made people believe what he said was the truth. "He is the Symbol of Peace, so he can't be lying, right?" was the only thing they believe. Even to make everything worse, Izuku was in the same school as his old enemies. Izumi Yagi, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki. Like someone wants to make the mother and son's life miserable.

   The trio was messing with Izuku every day about his mother. They trash talk about her every day, and they even push other students to speak badly about her too. Izuku was furious inside, but he only gives simple answers to defend her, even how much he wants to beat them to death on the inside. Some time passed. In this time trio started bullying Izuku again to satisfy their fragile but giant egos. They pushed him to pick a fight with them, but it didn't take that long to Izuku had enough of their "annoying" nature. So he stopped ignoring and starts to fight back instead. Izuku wasn't the same defenseless anymore. Through these years. He learned multiple fighting styles and how to use different close-ranged weapons with great mastery. His natural talent and skill, combined with his strong will and, make him a fierce fighter. The trio, unaware of these, unfortunately, had to learn this from the ward way.

   Throughout the school year, Izuku and the trio fight multiple times. Even he was alone, Izuku was holding well against his three enemies. Times he loses, he still takes one or two of them down along with him. Every loss trio got was further fueled their hate for the green-haired boy. They can't simply believe, the quirkless boy was going head to head with them and even manage to beat them. However, this isn't only something physical. In every aspect of the school, Izuku was challenging them. The trio only manages to beat Izuku's test scores because of the teachers' helping them. They were giving them extra points while dropping Izuku's. Izuku was aware of this and even told the principal about it but, he didn't do anything either because they have "powerful" quirks and, two of the three children's parents are top pro heroes.

   It is the launch time. Izuku was sitting alone in the corner of the cafeteria while eating his Katsudon. He is still thinking about the last fight he had with the trio. He was analyzing their weaknesses and flaws in their fighting styles, well, if there are any. Generally, they are just random punches and kicks. Without using their quirks, they are nothing to Izuku. He can easily read their movements like a book. The problem arises only when they start using their quirks to counter him. While he was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't even notice his only friend was approaching him. He only gets out of his thoughts when he heard the voice of his best friend.

???: "Hey Izuku, still thinking about the last fight ?" a female voice asked the green-haired boy.
