Izuku The Iron Revenant

Chapter 18: Island Mission

Team 2: Izumi, Ryuko, Hawks, Midnight, Present Mic, Iida, Uraraka.

   Team 2 arrived at the location of the piece. A small island near Japan. Heroes landed on the island with a helicopter and instantly started walking towards where is the temple located.

Midnight: "What are we looking inside the temple exactly? I don't think that the piece is laying around at the entrance."

Hawks: "It should be at the deepest part of the temple in a box. At least, from what I know."

Ryuko: "Yes. Also, we need to keep our eyes open. Izuku's men might be already here." when the dragon hero mentioned Izuku. Everyone who saw the things that happened at USJ shooked with fear.

Uraraka: "Do you think that is there any trap inside?" the brunette asked.

Present Mic: "I hope not... I love my head where it's where it belongs." the walking boombox hero said with a terrified voice while holding his neck. He remembered the movies he watched about old temples full of deadly traps.

Izumi: "Probably there are traps inside if it's guarding something that powerful." the green-haired girl answered.

Iida: "Izumi is right! We should move carefully inside of the temple." he said while chopping the air with his hands.

   The team arrived in front of the temple, and after checking around. They entered the temple and started slowly walking deeper. It seemed like they were alone. However, they were not, and somebody was following them from the shadows. Team 2 made their way to the room that holds the rune piece. While they were walking, traps stopped them multiple times but, they all manage to survive. As they walked and evaded traps. Iida started getting worried. Not for himself but for Uraraka. He developed some feelings for her from the first moment they met at the entrance exam. She was a beautiful girl and a great friend that supports others. He doesn't want her to be here, but she came anyway.

   After some walking, they arrived at the door of the room holds the piece. Suddenly the carvings on the door light up and, a bowl full of sand rose from the ground. They all looked at the door while trying to read the words, yet they didn't understand anything because it was written on a tongue long forgotten.

Midnight: "What are we gonna do now?"

Ryuko: "I don't know. Probably this is a riddle but, what language is this?"

Hawks: "Oh man. I wish that we could read what it says." the winged hero said with a sad voice. They all came here to just be stuck at the entrance of the room.

   While they looked sad, carvings light up again, and words turned into Japanese so they can read. They were all shocked to find out that all they need to do was just ask for it.

Uraraka: "I can't believe that it was this easy."

Iida: "At least we can read it now." as they are looking at the door, Midnight read the riddle loudly.

Midnight: "More just than the gods, more vicious than the evil deities, the rich need me, the poor need me not. What am I?"

Present Mic: "What kind of riddles is that!"

Ryuko: "Does anything come to someone's mind?" the dragon hero asked the group but, everyone stayed silent.

Hawks: "I got nothing. I can't think anything fits!" 

Uraraka: "Me too."

Present Mic: "Me neither. I can't think anything like that."

Iida: "I got nothing as well."
