11. Kiss

It was rare for Kaya to feel happy. It was weird because Kaya was an emotional woman, it was also sad because she attached a lot of her with everything, because she felt for every person in her life yet it had never been enough to actually make her feel happy very often.

But tonight was different. It was rare and all Kaya felt was happy. She was confused herself because she didn't even know what it was, if it was what she had with Aryan, if it was Afaf getting married or if it was the mountains. She just felt happy and she didn't know more.

She walked down the stairs from her rooftop room, with her eyes travelling across the snow covered mountains around her, high and mighty, almost poking into the sky, around the dimly lit stars. It wasn't too dark but she could spot a few patches of clouds over bearing the clear sky here there, hiding the crescent moon.

It was beautiful, everything about the place was beautiful, the vibes, the scenery, everything and she'd no other words to describe. She'd never been in the kind of peace she was in ever in her life before, it was coming from within her, it was radiating from the mountains,
even the silence wasn't killing her, it was only tranquil.

Ever since she had come she could hardly spot people around, it was sparsely populated, moreover the resort barely had any tourists. It was so empty around her that she could only hear the dogs bark and play apart from the air whizzing.

"Hey, what you guys doing??" Kaya couldn't help but smile at Mustafa and Aryan who were sat outside in the garden near the bonfire.

"What's up??" Mustafa welcomed Kaya, tilting a little towards her. He was sat across Aryan on the couch.

Kaya winked at Aryan secretively as soon as she got an opportunity and he only smiled more. She was feeling too good to restrain herself, plus Aryan had only been nice to her so far, so nice that she couldn't explain how victorious she felt.

They had arrived late afternoon, the drive was long and tiring but Kaya didn't feel an ounce of it the moment she stepped out of car. It wasn't only because she had come in terms with the realisation how heartening Aryan had been to her during the entire journey but also because she was enthralled by the tour of the hotel she was going to live in for the next few days and she knew she wasn't getting over the mountains anytime soon.

Aryan, Mustafa and Afaf chose to keep the day lowkey much to her dislike. Kaya wanted to explore already, she wanted to go into the woods, meet people, try sports but they limited her.

All of them ended up napping till the evening until Aryan finally decided to drive them around his estate. It was fun and so was the game of poker the four played at table before their dinner though Kaya hated how she lost so much of her money.

"It's so cold you know." She rubbed her arms to generate some heat as she confessed it to him before she sat at the edge of the couch next to him, diagonally to Aryan.Kaya was not even dressed appropriately to complain. She was wearing some fancy sweater crop top with pants and was carrying a fluffy stole in the name of woollens.
