Macaria's POV
I was in Wonwoo's arms as he flew us out, and without surprise, a great storm was there. Near the coastlines, the sea was overflowing, and most deaths were coming from there. Wonwoo's eyes scanned the surroundings and found a spot where he could land me safely.
He landed on a roof of a house that was now submerged in the waters. I landed on my feet while he hovered on the roof. He looked at me and I noticed the concern in his eyes.
"I'll be fine, you go now, and I'll just wait for you after" I assured him. He gave me a nod and flew upwards. I looked at how his chains erupted from his ankles and slither their way to where the deaths were. I remembered when I asked him about it and he does those things earlier.
"Well at first, I also did the individual collection, just like you do but then I needed to do it more efficiently. I visualized it and then it manifested. After that, I started to use the chains to make everything smoother"
I closed my eyes and visualized vines coming out of my body. I based it on one of my mother's forms that I once saw before. As I felt those vines encounter a soul, I felt a flower bloomed and take in the soul. As it did, I can also feel a gemstone growing in my body, together with their memories rushing. I did the same thing to the other souls I still have to collect.
As I opened my eyes, I can see the vines retracting back. I looked up and saw Wonwoo looking down on me. He was covered in thorns but despite his rough appearance, there was a soft smile on his face. I nodded in his direction and he flew towards me.
He scooped me in his arms and flew away. I looked at the skies and saw no stop to this storm. I grimaced as lightning strikes hit the earth.
"Uncle Cheol is seriously pissed," I said. Wonwoo's hold on me tightened as he descended to an entrance.
"Something bad must have happened, it's been a while since I witnessed this storm" he responded.
Wonwoo glided thoroughly and I accidentally touched the base of his wings. I felt him shudder and almost went sideways but he corrected himself.
"Please don't touch my wings, they are quite sensitive" he spoke as he descended near the river Styx. I nodded at him and kept the information in the back of my head.
3rd POV
Deep within his solitary cell, the titan lord laughed as he felt what was happening. Although it was just a way to test the playing field, it was giving him the amusement he needed. He closed his eyes and breathed, black whisps escaped his lips and went out. He smirked; he had that Eris brat to thank for.
"This is indeed amusing---" he mused but was soon interrupted by another presence.
"What is amusing, father?" Jeonghan stood there, together with Vernon. He noticed the bronze shackles that were on Vernon's hands. He glared at his son and roared.
"IS IT NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO BE TIED DOWN USING CHEOL'S THUNDER?!" This was met with an uninterested gaze from the king of the world.
"It seems those are not enough to stop you from your schemes. Now tell me, what is it that you are planning?" Jeonghan asked as he glared at his father.
The titan lord smirked and did not answer Jeonghan's question. There was a moment of silence before Jeonghan gave up fishing answers from his father.
"The shackles are ready uncle; it has been imbued with your essence to solidify it" Vernon spoke handing the shackles to Jeonghan. He took it and examined them. The titan lord glared at the material and took his gaze away.
