CHAPTER 7
"I am real," HAYATO remarked, his voice turned lower as he was determined to emphasize the fact.
Soon and when that happens, Tokiya won't be able to deny me anymore, he thought.
"But, the vibes... the aura..." Cecil slowly raised his hands like he was just an exorcist who attempted to destroy HAYATO's existence for good. "You don't feel real like others and... you don't have the vibes like you are Tokiya's brother either."
"Nice try, Cecil-kun," HAYATO replied, returning back his smiling face. "Instead of talking about me, can we just go back to why you are here? Are you trying to disturb Haruka or something?"
Crap!
Cecil almost forgot about how he was not supposed to get caught for escaping from Camus. HAYATO was smart enough not to take much time to give a reason for the prince to be concerned with himself instead of other people.
"No, no... I just want to see her for a while..."
"Exactly, what's the purpose of you coming here? Do you really want to become an idol?"
"Of course, I do," the doubtful question was instantly responded by Cecil who straightened his posture. This was when he could see clearly that HAYATO became a completely different person.
Or should he say... it felt like Tokiya just divided himself into two and interrogated him as if he was about to commit a robbery?
"You do because of Haruka-chan, am I right?"
I guess, it's no harm for me to be honest, the prince thought. He never intended it but when HAYATO or maybe anybody pointed out that Haruka was the reason for his decision all along, he felt proud.
He felt proud and pleased because there was something connected between him and his beloved composer.
"Yes," while he could not be obvious with his answer, Cecil observed HAYATO's reaction and it did not disappoint him. "Haruka is my princess and I am here because I want to sing her songs. It's that simple."
Yeah, yeah. It's that simple but you sure know how to make me cringe at how you use 'princess'. I mean... your princess? Which part?
"She is STARISH composer which is why you shouldn't disrupt her schedule. She has a lot on her plate."
HAYATO was not taken aback when Cecil snarked at his statement.
"Seriously, what's so great about STARISH? As far as I concern, they're still a bunch of rookies. All she needs is only me and I can perform her songs way better than them."
"Are you serious?" Now that HAYATO no longer bothered to put on his typical smile, Cecil did feel that he was much scarier than Tokiya. "Then, I guess you don't listen to a genius like Natsuki's singing or Toki... No, no. Masa is much better. Yeah, I believe you don't listen to Natsuki's or Masa's yet or you don't know how a great dancer Otoya and Syo are. You'll take back your words once you see how all of them sound."
Cecil was immature and reckless; HAYATO did not need to be a genius to know that. That was why he was unconsciously talking to the prince like he spelled out every single syllabus of his mouth. The fact that he had checked Cecil's age which was younger than Otoya and Syo also contributed to what he was doing.
Heck, even the soccer buddies were active; always moved around and childish, Cecil successfully beat them in terms of maturity.
And now, the prince was also proved naïve.
