Hogwarts 9:24 PM

Embers POV

"Can you stop eating chips like you haven't eaten in years" Blaise whispered yelled at Theodore who was crunching on chips as we snuck down the hall. We decided to go to the library so I could show them the book, it has been a few weeks since they found out and we have been quite useless.

"I haven't though" Theodore whined like a child which caused everyone to snap and shhh at him

"Merlin" Draco whispered shaking his head like a disappointed Father.

Once we arrived to the library everyone grouped with someone and split apart. Theodore, Lorenzo and Blake went one way, Luna and Blaise went another and Draco and I went to the restricted section. After a while of hushed tones, arguing, reading and looking around Draco and I found an interesting book to look into.

I was nervous with Draco around, he was untrustworthy and could betray us at any given moment. But I let my suspicions slide right now, we haven't gotten that far anyway, but my brain still compelled me to ask "why are you helping us?"

Draco's expression stayed neutral flipping a page over from the book in front of him "I did something a while back I shouldn't have and now everyone loathes me back at the Manor, why not a little more?" He shrugged

"What did you do?" I asked

He looked up from the book with a frown, like he was searching for something "I went with my aunt Bellatrix on a mission, there were these people trying to stop us. She was brought down and these men had a hold on her, while she yelled and yelled for me to kill them I just sat there. like an afraid coward, and now" he sighed "they all ignore me, they're disappointed in my existence"

I went to his side and placed a hand on his shoulder "you know you did the right thing, right?" He responded with a shrug of his shoulders, flipping the page once more "seriously, screw them" he chuckled a little which surprised me, but I still took it "you're your own person Draco, be who you want, like I always say" I grinned "love defeats all evils"

He looked up, peering into my eyes but I looked right back at his. When he finally nodded I grinned and started to read my book once more.

We collected what we thought were important books, and went back to Blake and I's dorm where we collected ourselves and discussed.

"This book is about a goddess with cool magic" Lorenzo grinned from ear to ear. Blake leaned close and whispered something not his ear causing him to completely blush and then go a little pale. All while Blake smirked, lazily leaning back in his chair quite smug.

"Well Draco and I found the original book, which holds details of when it was first used but nothing about defeating it" I sighed

Everyone erupted into conversation, arguing about what to do. Blaise was arguing with Draco since Blaise slapped his ass when he walked by to get a drink. Blake and Lorenzo were flirting and arguing at the same time about the book being 'cool magic' as Lorenzo called it. Theodore was also arguing with Blaise who took one of his cookies. Luna just sat there hands in her lap watching everything unfold, but I slowly realized how she was losing control.

"Quiet" she snapped causing everyones head to turn her way "your arguing is messing up the peaceful atmosphere, listen" she said through gritted teeth, still trying to pleasantly smile.

"You have a feisty one" Theodore whispered loudly roaring like a lion and putting out his hand in a claw. This received a slap in the back of the head by Blaise who was glaring at him.
