3rd day

Mattheo POV

"Draco, listen to me" I command and scoot a little closer.  I hiss from the pain that spreads throughout my whole body but I still move forward anyway. 

"Nope" he says and pauses "nah, never, nope" he finishes and shakes his head.  He lightly pushes Luna behind him as if he's protecting her.  

"You have to listen to me, please" I plead but he looks away and starts moving.  He grabs a piece cardboard off of the ground and Is about to put it over the hole.  At this moment I feel like I should just give up. 

Instead of explaining the whole situation in a calm manner like I wanted I yell out "its not me!" And finally Draco pauses.  The card board stays in place but It is un-moving. "Its my Fathers doing, he used me to get to you guys"

Draco slowly moves the cardboard to the side, only enough so that I can see Luna "please, give me a chance to explain" I choke out.  Luna looks to the side and without words I know they are communicating, she nods and the cardboard slides all the way over revealing Draco. 

"You need a valid reason Mattheo" Luna says softly "We have been through so much and I can't even imagine what everyone else is going through" she finishes and I close my eyes.

I sigh through my nose and thats when I notice the bruise on Lunas cheek that I was told about earlier "I didn't do that. Luna, I would never" no matter how much shit I've done I would never hit her or any girl for that matter. 

Luna looks all over my face likes she's investigating for the truth "and for some reason, I know" she mutters while Draco sits down beside her.  He peers into the hole and I think thats when he truly notices the state I am in. 

"How do we know for sure?" He raises a brow and I try my best to think of a way I could make them believe.  I want them to truly know everything and I need to start off strong,

My finger tips go to the fresh cut that runs down my brow that will eventually scar. "Whenever the 'Mattheo Riddle' visits" I say in mocking tone "Does he have this?" I ask pointing to the cut.

They look at it and Draco's frown deepens.  You can see the lightbulb go off and he then he finally realizes.  Draco's face saddens while he still looks at the cut   "what happened mate?"  He mutters and I start from the beginning.

(3 days ago, Mattheos day 1 )

Ember ran off and my very first instinct was to go after her.  I sprint towards the school and enter a hole that Is now on the side of a wall.  Rocks crumble around me and fall from the ceilings so I try my best to think about one thing at a time.  Right now my mind is on Ember and only her as she runs towards danger, should I stop and think about what I am running into?

When I am about to catch up to her my arm is yanked to the side out of no where and a hand goes over my mouth to muffle my yells.  Succumbed into darkness, I watch as Elijah and the others run right past me.  I yell through the hand and try to bite down on it and just as I am about to my eyes go droopy.  My body relaxes and I slump down nearly falling to the ground only to be caught by many hands. 

People in cloaks surrounded me as my eyes begin to finally close.  It was obviously fathers doing and I am already afraid of what is to come. 

(Mattheos day 2)

A throbbing head ache, a sore neck and horrific pain shooting through my back.  I wake up and push myself up off the ground only to remember the current events from before.
