(back when they were first being chased)

Embers POV

I started off good hitting a Death Eater off of his broom.  Fred, George, Remus and Molly did the same.  There were only a couple left but they were ganging up on us fast.  I was almost  hit a couple times and ended up yelling at Fred but he just laughed and shrugged it off.

We ended up falling back a little when one grabbed the back of our broom.  He dragged us
so we were side by side and I did my best and punched him square in the jaw making his head whip to the side. When I was about to push him off the broom he grabbed my wrist and pulled.

"Ember!" Fred yelled trying to get me back but it was impossible when he had to focus on flying

"Have fun in the trees" the guy smeared releasing my wrist.

I felt myself falling and I was falling so far down.

(Flashback)

Ember was holding onto Elijahs hand, practically skipping.  The sun was beaming and Elijah declared it park day for his two kids. Blake was on the other side of Elijah looking around at the cute birds singing up in the trees.  

When they got to the park it was little wet from the rain storm yesterday but not too wet that they couldn't play.  So Ember and Blake decided to play tag, Elijah joined and obviously he was it.

He counted to ten, letting his kids get a head start.  He watched them run with their little legs over to the park. When Elijah was finished counting he ran after them and chose to go for the farthest kid, which happened to be Ember. 

When she saw he was coming she ran faster to the park latter and started climbing.

"I'm gonna get you" Elijah yelled slowing down a little bit for her little legs. 

When she was climbing her foot slipped from the wet steps and fell down.  Ember felt tears go to her eyes as she saw the cut on her knee start bleeding.  She gripped onto it letting a tear slip, but nothing more since she was strong.

When Elijah saw this he ran over and brought the little girl into his arms, sitting down with her on his lap.

"Hey, its okay sweet girl" he rubbed her back wiping the single tear that had fallen, he was quite curious as to why she wasn't balling her eyes out like any other kid.

"I know" her voice was little and quiet "I'm sorry"

"Why are you sorry" Elijah asked taking her hands off the scrape and taking a look

"I ruined the game" she sighed a looked down

Elijahs finger went under Embers chin and lifted her chin up "baby, don't worry about the game. you didn't ruin it" Elijah smiled, he was so proud of her bravery.  He was also convinced she was the sweetest girl he'd ever known, she thought about others before herself even when she was the one hurt "now common, we can still play.  We will put on a marvel bandage when we get home"

The little girl beamed "Spiderman?" She asked excited

"Whatever you want it to be" Elijah answered "do you want to go up the stairs or the latter?"

"Will I fall again if I go up the latter?" She asked looking at all of the possibilities on the playground.

"I wont let you fall baby.  And if you do, I'll always be there to pick you up" Elijah smiled and carried his daughter to the latter, she climbed up while he held her waist making sure she wasn't going to slip.  And when she got to the top Blake was there waiting, and held her hand as they started to play once more.
