I opened my eyes slowly and groaned slightly as the sunlight was blinding me and I was feeling very hot. The reason therefore was found fast as I could feel a body pressed against my back. I turned my head a bit so that I could see Lando's face. He was still asleep and looked very peaceful with a small smile in his face. He had his arms around my waist, holding me tightly. I tried to wiggle out a bit as I wanted to cool down, but no chance he was way too strong. So I turned around in his arms, now facing him. I gently touched Lando's cheek with my hand and slowly ran my finger over his eyebrow. He stirred a bit and groaned quietly, opening his eyes slowly. I smiled at him and said "Good Morning". He mumbled with his raspy morning voice "Good Morning Beautiful. What time is it?", tightened his arms around me and gently pulled me on top of him. I ran my hands through his curls. His hair was a mess and he still looked very sleepy. I just couldn't understand how someone could look so cute but also so hot at the same time. Especially in the morning. "I don't know, but for sure time for breakfast." I said. He looked at me with a smirk and whispered "Or we could stay here...". I laughed and gave him a peck on the lips "Sorry, but food comes first.". I got up from him and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I could here a mumbled 'Unfair' from Lando. He also came into the bathroom saying "What is the plan for today again?". "We wanted to go to the beach. There should be a party, I think Max mentioned something.".

We were on summer holidays in Spain together with our group of friends consisting of Max, Connor, Tom, Dan, Jenny and Allie. Normally I was sharing a room with Allie but this night I slept over at Lando's. Lando and I kind of agreed on being something like friends with benefits and our friends knew about that. We got on very well right from the start, as we are on the same wavelength. But Lando was travelling the world while driving a formula one car being more at hotels than at home, so he didn't want something serious. And I agreed with him as I thought that it was better than nothing. But it was hard. He was always so sweet and caring towards me, acting like we were a couple. But sometimes he had his "bad boy" moments, talking in front of me with the boys about other girls or even flirting with other girls. I often found myself crying and doubting the decision, but I was a sucker for this boy.

I was almost ready for breakfast, putting my beach dress on. When I walked out of the bathroom I saw Lando sitting on his bed smiling or rather smirking down at his phone. He was wearing his grey swim shorts and a white shirt. "What are you smiling at?" I asked him. "Nothing, can we go?" he replied hurriedly. I nodded and he got up, walking past me out of the hotel room, without waiting for me. As we walked, he kept staring at his phone and completely ignored me. And again I felt completely dumb like he only wanted me for sex and now that he got what he wanted I am invisible. I wasn't hungry anymore, so I thought about skipping breakfast and going straight to the beach to calm my mind a bit. "Hey, I am not hungry anymore, I will go straight to the beach." I told Lando. He stopped and turned towards me, looking confused "What? You just said a few minutes ago that you are starving. So come on, you have to eat something, this is not healthy!" He took my hand and pulled me with him. I mumbled a short "Okay, dad." and rolled my eyes, he just laughed at me.

After we met our friends and had breakfast, we all went together to the beach. The boys immediately went to the water so we girls had time to talk. "So what's up with you?" Allie asked me. "I don't know, I just have the feeling that Lando is having a thing with another girl. He always smiles at his phone and I mean, he is allowed to. We are not together." I told them. Jenny made a weird face at that. "What?" I asked. "I hoped that Connor misunderstood something, but I think you are right with Lando. Connor told me that Kate and her girls are also coming to this party today and I think Lando invited her." All I could do was laugh at this, as I didn't know what else to do. I looked towards Lando, he was coming out of the water towards us and I found myself starring at his abs. He smiled at me sweetly and came closer. I knew what was on his mind "No Lando, don't!" I warned him, but it was too late. He already had his arms around my hips, carried me towards the water and threw himself into the water with me. When we resurfaced, I put my arms around his neck and tried in vain to push his head under the water. We both laughed out loud and he already had tears in his eyes. I hit his chest and he stared at me in mock horror. We were facing each other, inching closer, our lips almost touching as he suddenly was focusing on something behind me. He let go of me and walked towards the beach, I turned around and saw the reason. Five beautiful girls were standing next to the boys, chatting with them and I clearly could see Kate in her pink bikini. I also walked out of the water but ignored the girls and sat down on my lounger. Lando was hugging Kate and they looked like THE perfect couple. I could feel the anger and self-doubt inside me, all I wanted to do was get away from them as far as possible. So I told Allie that I would get myself a drink and walked away. Lando has always been attracted to Kate and I know that sometimes they hooked up. This really wasn't how I planned this holiday to go. Me sitting alone at the bar drinking a Pina Colada, while the others were talking to those girls. As I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice someone coming towards me. When I felt something touching my back, I winced shocked. But it was just Lando who laid his hand on my back. He looked at me questioningly "What are you doing here? You just disappeared." "I just wanted something cold to drink." I said and pointed at my almost empty glass. "Okay, are you coming back with me then?" I shook my head "No, I think I will stay here a little longer. But you can go back to her, I am good here." I told him coldly. I tried my best to hide my jealousy, but I definitely failed. Lando smirked at me "Are you jealous or what?" I scuffed "Of course not. Why would I be?" "I have no clue why you would be. Because clearly you are the most beautiful girl here or everywhere." He told me with his significant smile which showed his dimples and put a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "Please stop Lando." I said and took a step back from him. "Why?" "Because you are making it really hard for me to have no strings attached. I like you. I like you a lot and want more. I want this to be exclusive and I want to be yours." I could see that he was surprised by my outburst, so I added "No worries, I know that you don't want this and also not with me. But I can't do this anymore, so I think it's best if we end this." Now Lando was shocked and he made a step towards me and cupped my cheek with his bigger hand. "I know that I said at the beginning of this" he gestured between us "that I don't want something serious but I changed my mind. And of course I want to be with you, I thought I made this clear. You are absolutely stunning with and even more without make-up. I love waking up next to you and holding you in my arms. And you don't have to be jealous because for me there is only you." I couldn't believe what I heard, was that real? "And what is she then doing here?" I asked him sceptically. "She saw my story in Instagram and then she wrote me that she will be also here. I thought it was okay, as I knew that Max likes one of her friends. But that was it. Okay?" He smiled down at me and I also smiled "Oh and today I was writing with Carlos when you asked me. He told me to grow up and tell you about my feelings." I laughed at that "I love him and now kiss me you idiot." He also laughed and cupped my cheeks with both his hands and kissed me deeply.
