Oh no... the lights are gone again! We'll have another loss tonight. But you know what they say.... Sublime beyond loss, right? I try to run to my room, but a hand grabs me and pulls me into another room. At first I'm scared, but when I see Thiago's face staring back at me, I know he isn't going to hurt me.
We both stand by the door and listen. Something is happening... and I don't like it. Thiago seems really into investigating, and I enjoy his company. I know I'm not as useful, but... At least I can do something in life. I hear somebody running upstairs as fast as they can, and the suspense grows.
The lights finally return for us, and I breathe a sigh of relief. Suddenly, I hear somebody else coming up the stairs. ''G-GUYS! D- SHE- SHE'S DEAD! PLEASE COME!'' That's Scarlett's voice. if the murder happened on a lower floor, then the one who came upstairs could very well be the killer. We quickly come to the crime scene to see what was there.
And there it was. It had been propped up to be sitting against the wall. There were no visibly bleeding wounds, but the marks on her throat proved that she was indeed dead. Danielle had been strangled to death.
This is insane. Danielle was killed? By the ruthless murderer? I clutch Thiago's hand out of terror, but quickly let go, embarrased. I wish the motives were more clear in this crime. Motives might help us a bit, but right now, we have none. The only motive for murder so far is that they would want to kill Austin because he was such a powerful leader.
Like usual, everybody is terrified. Indah is quivering in a corner, Miguel yelps and throws his roller skates at the wall, Kai comforts Lukey like always, Lassi almost chokes on the muffin they were eating, and Alab just turns away. We can't avoid the deaths nowadays, we can't do anything about it...
''Welp. Looks like our 15th survivor has been deleted from the world. Tragedy! So yeah, the murderer has killed Danielle like always. She has been strangled and her body was propped up against the wall. Our investigator suspects Sabrina. Have fun!''
Everybody is gathered downstairs now. Except... I think somebody is missing? Strange. I guess we need to discuss who the killer is now. I hope we can just get it right for once. I'm tired of all of this despair...
''Why don't we all get into a circle, and give our alibis for the night? I think it would help a lot.'' Odette is really aching for the murderer to be found. I think we can all agree nowadays. The horrid murderer must be found before they can end any more lives!
I decide to contribute. ''Well, to make this quicker, anybody who was in their room the entire night and didn't see anything or have somebody to confirm this, raise your hand.'' Surprisingly, there is still a good amount of people who weren't simply sleeping. I'd rather not name them all. After all, they'll talk shortly.
Rosalie begins. ''I was in my hallway, watching the stairs to see if anybody came up. At one point Regan exited her room, but went back in shortly after. I guess she's innocent. Nothing else happened, and after a while I fell asleep on the floor.'' I see Regan nod, and we continue.
Then we have Scarlett. ''I was in the closet where Natalie was burnt, and I heard Danielle screaming... I should have done something, I'm such a coward...''She bows her head and I decide to speak up.
''Me and Thiago were in his room, watching the halls.'' Thiago gives a hum of approval while I talk. ''We heard somebody coming up the stairs... That might have been the killer. But if that is so, Scarlett is probably safe.''
Liza perks up. ''Well, if that's true, then everybody on the lower floor is most likely innocent. However, we don't know for sure. I invited Mary to my room to keep her safe, and that's all.'' Mary slowly nods, and I see Nikolai raise his hand after.
''I drew on the wall in my room the whole night. Maybe someone else heard the sounds? You can come upstairs to see them if you want.'' I don't see anybody prove his statement, but Nicole runs upstairs, and comes back quickly.
''It's just a bunch of slurs about Rosalie. We don't have proof of when they were drawn, but I trust him. Anyhoo...'' Well, that was rude of him to say. I guess we should move on in life. We need to discuss more important things.
''I stayed at the pool with Quinn! Jackson was there half the night, but he eventually left. I guess it is pretty dark, so I wouldn't blame him if he didn't see the corpse.'' Albert seems giddy as always, however it is a bit uncanny.
Sabrina seems lively when she speaks ''I was chilling near the stairs of my hall the whole entire night! I was prepared to attack the murderer if I saw them coming up. I never saw anyone though, so I don't really have much to say. Anyways, what about the rest of you guys?''
''Wait a sec. Rosalie said she never saw anything. You say you were there the whole night. That means you've lied! Sabrina, I agree with the investigator. You are probably the murderer!'' Thomas shouts. Woah, that escalated really quickly. I agree. Sabrina has been suspicious.
''Wha... No wait, I was in my room the whole night! I swear!'' Sabrina pleads. Oh, really? Then why did you say you weren't in your room then? She's clearly the killer. ''I just said that because I wanted to look brave, please! Don't vote for me!''
''Well, this was interesting. You guys can vote now. I think we've seen enough nowadays.'' Welp, poor Sabrina. She dug her own grave. I guess she should learn her lesson some day, but since she'll die, she can't really... Ah, forget it.
''Okay, that's a wrap. I'm sorry to tell you all you once again voted incorrectly. At least all of our special roles are still here. Bye bye, Sabrina!''
Sabrina goes into the room, and I see her reading a paper. She reluctantly puts her chin on a bar of a sort of device. Hey, I know what this is! It's the head crusher, a medival torture/execution device. Reading about it online was so gruesome. First the jaws were crushed, then the eyes popped out, and the pulverized brain flowed through the ear canal. Absolutely disgusting...
Suddenly, a pair of red headphones drops from the ceiling. Wait... those are Colleen's! This is what the sign from her execution meant! Since the lights turned green before she died, Sabrina must be saved! Then I notice the water flowing down. It runs into a wheel, which turns... and begins to rotate the screw of the cap. No, no, no, no, no! It's going to kill her!
I can barely close my eyes before the noises begin. The screams, the crunching, the sound of two soft objects hitting the floor... And I don't have to open my eyes again to know Sabrina's a goner. Almost everybody is screaming. This was the most excruciating execution so far!
I walk back to my room, traumatized. The killing is even more intense now... why is our life like this? I try to fall asleep, but I can't get those sounds from my mind... The lights go off, and I'm left in a world of darkness. At this point, I'm praying for the murderer to go after me next.
However, I'm unable to fall asleep. I eventually accept I'll have a sleepless night. Like usual, the night goes by quickly. I just whimper on my bed, beginning to cry. I feel a bit better after crying, but not too much.
Once the lights have returned to welcome us, I finally get out of bed. I don't even feel like walking. I just crawl my way up the stairs, to where I hear Aphrodite's screaming. Of course, once I see what's there, I regret it.
She had tried to escape to her room... It's clear by the way she's reaching to the door... But she was too late... Too late before the murderer stabbed her in the gut. Why did this happen to her? What kind of thing did our victim, Moire, do to deserve this?
I can't even nowadays. The murder and bloodshed is becoming too much for me to take. I just want out of here. Would it be selfish of me to kill myself? I don't see any other way I'll escape, unless I end up dying by the murderer or execution. I just... I don't know what to do anymore.
''Hello, everyone! Wonderful morning, eh? Well, that's nice.'' We get it, mastermind, Moire was killed and the investigator thinks somebody did this. Just get this over already. I don't care what you think-
''Oh dear! It seems Jo has died from mysterious circumstances.''
