chapter 4~ sacrifice

Author~chan's POV~

Mikey is delinquent but not a bad person, In 2017 Toman rams a truck into a festival and kills Hinata, someone with no connections to them at all. he's definitely not the same as the boss of that organization. she wonders if something changes Mikey?

since a few minutes ago the three of them were talking near the river where Takemichi teleported back to her past for the second time, soon the three of them also finished talking about what Mikey says he will make a new era. because Takemichi was crying at that time, she couldn't stop her emotion from coming out on purpose.

she remembered that Mikey was too close to her, as their fingers were intertwined and their eyes were staring at each other for a long time. Takemichi almost forgot Ken was behind them. but still, she also couldn't stop herself from getting rid of Mikey's brown eyes. as if when she looked into Mikey's eyes little by little she was drowning in it.

she recalls everything Mikey said before, about the era he would make, and about why Mikey liked her. she was embarrassed at the time that she wanted to push Mikey away. but someone else stopped her saying she knew that boy

well, that thing is too impossible because in Takemichi's whole life she had never met Mikey even in middle school. though she even noticed that she was a few years older than Mikey, It's a no to her because this is just the first time they encountered and she didn't think she would get close to that kid right away. and another, she is a guy and not a girl. she also has a girlfriend and she can never cheat Hinata for a guy like Mikey

but why does she feel this way?

she felt her heart just jump out of the cage...

"Why am I like this?" Takemichi asked herself with her whole face blushing with embarrassment just remembering Mikey's face, it wasn't just the first time she felt like this, this is how she felt earlier when Hinata tried to save her from Mikey and Ken. Is it because she loves Hinata so much that her heart is like this? if so, why does she feel the same way when Mikey holds her hand or brings his face closer to hers?

who knows? maybe she's already in love with Mikey? 

"n-no way" Takemichi wiped her reddened face trying to remove it, she couldn't fall in love with Mikey especially if it was only the second day of her mission. she had to save Hinata as Naoto said. once she stopped Hinata from going to the festival everything would be over and everything would be back to normal, that means she can return to the future to be with Hinata and they will live peacefully.

with this in mind, Hinata has been watching Takemichi from her stand for a long time. she wonders why every minute her girlfriend's face turns red. even earlier when they entered the train she noticed that Takemichi was thinking too deeply, she looks like a student who are nervous about their next exam

she slowly snaked her right hand into Takemichi's arms "you alright? I just noticed that as we entered the train you were thinking deeply. did that kid do something bad to you?" 

"a-ah, n-no" Takemichi shook her head.

"I'm just thinking about the activities I left in the club room, I haven't finished the others so I don't know what to do" Takemichi replied which was true

since Mikey and Ken took her to the river not far from her school, the flashback of her activities hit her head strongly causing her to wake up from reality. but because all her time was demolished because of the conversation of the three of them. she doesn't have time to finish all those activities, she doesn't know what their leader will do if she finds out that Takemichi didn't finish the job she assigned to her
