Takemichi breathed against the freezing snow, her eyes already spotting the church not far from them. she ceased at the bottom of the stairs without losing her attention to the church, Chifuyu then stopped next to her, while Kisaki and Hanma were behind.
now, the war she hopes will begin with the four of them entering the battlefield. behind the church door, where Taiju was waiting for them. Takemichi took a deep breath, knowing that she could no longer retreat. this is the time she has been waiting for, her desire to save Hakkai will happen. even if she exchanges her life so that she can only give the younger a beautiful future, she'll do everything just to fulfill her wishes.
she stood straight, towering with determination. she turned to the three kids waiting for her command. she gave a dazzling smile "thank you for supporting me so far"
Takemichi began, she stared at Chifuyu for a few seconds, until her eyes fell on Kisaki and Hanma. "honestly, I don't know why you guided us this far. in fact, we're not that close for you to help me and Chifuyu-kun ... we had a lot of arguments and from the beginning, I had no intention of getting involved with you"
Takemichi's expression became serious, her oceanic eyes looking straight at Kisaki.
"I don't know what your plan is and why you're helping me, knowing that in yourself Mikey-kun can kick you out when he finds out at the time you helped me"
Takemichi went down a few steps on the stairs, she stopped on the second base causing her to even shroud Kisaki's entire figure. Kisaki didn't speak, even Hanma who remained silent seeing his friend didn't utter any words. while Chifuyu was behind Takemichi who had in his expression a clear suspicion.

Takemichi's eyes shone, her hair swayed left and right because of the cold wind hitting them. so gorgeous and breathtaking, in this short time, Chifuyu also couldn't help but fall more and more into the older. even Kisaki and Hanma who didn't care about the women around them now had a restless heart just seeing Takemichi's mesmerizingly beautiful face.
however, Takemichi on the other hand is having a second thoughts about confronting Kisaki at these times. she couldn't imagine why Kisaki would do anything just to help her, even at the time he first said he wanted to join their group. because of him, Pah was imprisoned, because of him. Baji died, because of him. Mikey falls into the darkness, and because of him Hinata and Atsushi die several times in the present.
she couldn't count how many painful burdens Kisaki had given her, she also didn't have time to count them especially if she knew in herself she was tired. therefore at this time, before she rescues Hakkai, she wants to know everything about why Kisaki suddenly changed in a flash and why he keep squeezing himself into Takemichi knowing that Chifuyu was just there to kill him.
