chapter 5~ Save Draken

Author~chan's POV~

"Hanagaki Takemichi-san, you're fired~"

"eh?" Takemichi's brain short-circuited when she heard what her boss declared.

"don't eh? me, It should be obvious you missed work for two weeks without permission, just who do you think took flak for that? hmm? you're fired~"

that's right two weeks have already passed, Naoto did mention that when the time passed in past, time also passed here

"What about my wages?" Takemichi asked as she started to get anxious

her boss stood at the counter, her lazy expression looked at Takemichi "It was sent to your bank account, goodbye~"

not knowing what was the reason for Takemichi to be fired from her most beloved job, she just didn't go to work for a week so that her boss could fire her just like that. Naoto will scold her when he finds out she didn't bring an umbrella especially if the weather is too hot right now.

"my account balance is 20,580 yen, and I lost my livelihood" Takemichi sniffed "I won't be able to pay my rent, How am I going to live like this?" 

how can she save someone like Hinata, Atsushi, and Draken If she can't even save herself? she has lost her most beloved job, she will also lose her apartment that she did not pay on the right day. what's next? her life? if she had only known this would happen to her, she might have continued her education so she could find the best job with a high salary

guess, from today she will live in Naoto's house, sighing Takemichi stopped in front of Naoto's house she opened the door quietly and also closed it before she went to his office. by the time she entered the room, she glimpsed Naoto at his desk doing something important on his laptop. maybe he's just re-reading the case about what happened last night when Atsushi committed suicide.

recollecting what happened last night, Takemichi still can't forget all that. while listening to the other line of voice trembling from Atsushi, it was abruptly broken as well as what Takemichi knew was that she started screaming when she saw her friend jump voluntarily on the high building he was stepping on 

because of that, she didn't even remember that Mikey was still standing on the rooftop of the motel watching her even though he also saw what happened to Atsushi. as if he didn't care?

even about Kisaki that Atsushi said that same night. to Takemichi's recollection, he was the second leader of Tokyo Manji that Naoto told him, right? she has never met or seen him in person except for the single picture that Takemichi thinks is still glued to the whiteboard in Naoto's office. thinking about it, Naoto also threatened her not to get close to Kisaki as much as she could she had to stay away from that guy

except that she learned that Kisaki was a bad person like Naoto said, but what else was the reason for her to have to stay away from that guy?

"Tadaima" Takemichi wandered over to the nearby chair next to Naoto and sat there exhausted.
