She took me outside the court along with her inside the palace. Everything happened playing inside my head, his voice ringing in my mind. I am more afraid right now! I thought he will hang me to death or worst feed me to the loins. Why would he want me as his slave?

What is he going to do to me? What is going to happen?

"Young lady ! " A soft voice brought me back to reality, it was the head maid.

"Huh" I looked at her realizing that I was in my own world.

"Are you okay, young lady ? she asked, looking at me. We were the only people in the whole long corridor, only me and the head maid.

"Yeah I am fine, just call me Ara" I replied to her and she smiled looking at me.

" Okay Ara" she said and silence filled the place. I looked at the palace in total astonishment, the place was totally breathtaking. Filled with majestic chandeliers, the place is fully themed in gold and white enhancing the beauty and richness. Big portraits, carpets matching the theme, striking sculptures, lofty pillars, everything in there were totally astonishing.

"We are here! You should get some rest and change to your uniform, it will be in the wooden cupboard. I will have to go now. " The old lady said to me as she left that place.

I entered the maids room. It was not as luxurious as the palace but it was beautiful here too. A spacious room with many cots arranged in a row, a big mirror in the middle. Gold lights give a warm look to this place. I turned to the other side and saw a wooden cupboard, I went near it and opened it. Many uniforms folded and arranged neatly. I quickly changed to one of them.

No one was here except for me. I believe everyone is at work. As I was thinking something I heard the knock on the door. I went outside, it was another young girl, maybe the same as me.

" I am Jung Cho, I am one of the maids here. I came here to show you around the palace and to explain to you the rules and how we function here. So, shall we? " she asked, I just nodded my head.

We started going around the palaces. The curiosity kicked inside me, I wanted to know what Jihun was doing and where he was.

"Umm, Cho-shi, where is the king ?" I asked her as she turned her towards me.

" Ah the king ? People from the neighbouring countries have come for some business. So the king is busy with them. " She said and continued walking .

After seeing the places I had known, we both were walking back inside the palace to the main hall when we both heard a voice. A sweet yet commanding voice. We turned around to meet the young woman I saw in the morning at the royal court. So elegant and beautiful, her face glowed in the sunlight. I was so amazed by the girl standing in front of me.

Cho tapped my arm, gaining my attention. She bowed and I followed her action. " She is the Royal Princess Yoon Ae-Ri '' she said as she was still in the same position. Princess? I guess good looks are there in their bloodline. She is a true beauty!

" You are the one who talked back to the king in the morning right?" She asked, pointing her finger at me. I just nodded my head, she kept a neutral face but she was kinda surprised and happy? I don't know if I am right but she seemed to be happy.

" What is your name? " She asked me again

" Cho Ara, my lady." I said she was silent for a minute and said

" Be careful !" She said in a stern tone. Her gaze was so strong that I really felt fear inside just by seeing her. I nodded my head in response even though I didn't know why she said that. Saying that she just walked away leaving me and Cho alone in the big hallway.

" She is the daughter of King Father's brother. She is soon going to marry King Yoon " Cho stated just to leave me in utter shock.

"She is going to marry King Yoon Jihun? But why would he marry a girl who is like his sister? Kings usually marry princesses from other kingdoms don't they?"

" King Yoon is not interested in marrying her either, but it is the King's father's wish. It is his wish to marry his brother's daughter. But, I don't clearly know the reason. Even if we do know what we are going to do with it."

Jihun is getting married ? But why is he marrying Ae-Ri ?
