Chapter 209 - 🐧🐧🥚❤️

"Hey Julian, hey Maddy. Good to see you. How are you?", I say as the two open the door for me. Both give me a short hug, then step aside to get in. Today is a big day. They want to announce Maddy's pregnancy and I will take the picture. For normal Jannis would do that but he doesn't have any time at the moment. That's why I will be the photographer today. They already made a plan how to do it. And I really gotta say that I like the plan.
I follow them into the living room where they've already prepared a corner with some plants so the background looks nice. "Here. Be careful with it, I'd prefer to not be killed by Jannis.", Julian says whilst handing me one of Jannis' camera bags. I start chuckling and the two join me, then I carefully start unwrapping the camera. Meanwhile Julian and Maddy get ready for the shoot. Julian takes off his shirt and Maddy does the same. She's wearing pants and a dark red lace bralette now, Julian only wears his pants. As I have unwrapped and turned on the camera they get into the right position. They're standing right in front of each other and her baby bump and his abs touch. Julian's stands on the left, Maddy on the right side of me. His left arm lies around her shoulders and her right hand rests on his hip. His right hand rests on her belly, her left one on top of it. I take loads of pictures. In some they kiss, in some they just smile bright at each other and in some she puts her head against his shoulder and smiles into the camera. The love they radiate is so beautiful and so I can't stop smiling. And my smile gets even bigger as I notice a little detail. On the fourth finger of her left hand there's a ring with a quite big white diamond. I lower the camera and look at them with my jaw dropped. I point at the ring and ask: "Is that what I think it is?" Maddy smiles at the ring with a lot of love in her eyes and Julian does the same, then she nods. "Oh my god, congrats! I'm so happy for you two! But... How? Since when? Huh?", I say which makes them laugh a little. Julian pulls her into a real hug now and she starts explaining. "Well... Three weeks ago was my birthday as you know. I mean... You and Erling were here almost all day long so of course you know. And yeah... After y'all had left we took a bath and after that Julian made some romantic dinner for me. And after dinner he suddenly kneeled down and asked me to be his wife. It was perfect.", she says and during the last sentence she looks her fiancée in the eyes. They happily smile at each other, then connect their lips for a moment again. I also can't hold my smile back. I put the camera aside, careful to not break it, and then step towards my friends to hug them. "I'm so very happy for you.", I say again. We all smile bright but then the two look at each other and Maddy nods. Julian turns to me a little and then says: "Uhm... Well... We have two questions. The first one is...uhm...well...although our little angel hasn't been born yet we've thought a lot about the question who could take care of him or her I something happens to us one day and...We want to ask you if you want to be that person. Eve, do you want to be our baby's godmother?" Once again my jaw drops. "Of course! Guys, that's such an honour! Oh my god, thank you so much. I can't wait to hold this little miracle. Wow. I'm so fucking happy right now!", I exclaim and again hug them. They laugh and then Maddy says: "Well... Then let me make you even happier. We've not even known for a year but in those few months you've become the best friend I've ever had and that's why I want to ask you if you'd like to be my bridesmaid?" Now I'm totally flashed, too many good things are happening at the same time. "Are you kidding me? Of course I want to be your bridesmaid! Oh lord, I feel so honoured right now. You two are killing me!", I exclaim and then pull Maddy into a tight hug, careful to not crush her belly between us. The happiness that fills me right now is incredible. Like... Damn, there ain't even one single millimetre of my body ghat isn't filled with happiness and love right now.
We decide to celebrate the fantastic news and so we get some orange juice and champagne glasses. Julian fills the glasses wihh the juice and then hands them to us. We clink glasses and then talk a lot whilst drinking. As we all have finished we connect the camera with the laptop to choose the perfect picture. The two can't decide between three of them: one where they kiss, one where they smile at each other and one where they smile into the camera. "Can we take another one? I'd like to add a special scene.", Julian says before feathering a kiss on Maddy's cheek. We agree and then get back to the photo corner. Julian kneels down in front of his future wife and again they place their clasped hands on the sides of her belly. For a second Julian looks up at her and smiles, then he kisses her belly. I take a few photos of that scene, then they both get dressed again and we choose the last picture. In the picture he kisses her belly and smiles with his eyes while looking at her face. She smiles at him as well, nothing but love in her eyes. It's a gorgeous photo and we add it to the other pictures. A few minutes later I get the post notifications and immediately open Instagram. They posted the pics and both added the same caption: 🐧🐧🥚❤️
That's so fucking cute. I already told you about the penguin thing earlier and that they used it for the announcement is so damn adorable. Again I hug them and tell them how happy I am, some time later I leave them alone with their love and their miracle. As I arrive at home I call Erling to tell him about the news. He flew to Qatar three days ago and is currently working on his comeback. He also enjoys the news a lot and we talk for a long time. Right now I feel as much love between us as I did between Julian and Maddy earlier today. It's crazy how much love there is in my life right now. Erling and me. Julian and Maddy. Cami and Leo. Marie and Gio. Gigi and Benji. Jude and Jadon. It's incredible but I love it. I love the love.
