Chapter 205 - A Perfect Evening

As our food finally arrives I pay the driver, giving him a quite big tip, and then return to the living room where my girls are waiting already. They sit on the sofa and look like hungry lions which makes me laugh. I open the delivery box and then hand everyone what they ordered. We spend the next minutes eating and the eating noises fill the room. We all were just very, very hungry. Maddy is done eating first. She places her hands on her baby belly as if it was nothing more than a food baby and then says: "That was damn good. I feel like I'm having twins now." That makes all of us laugh. Some minutes later we're also done eating and with Marie's help I bring the boxes to the dustbin downstairs. On our way there I notice her very happy smile. As I ask her about it she smiles even brighter. Then she points at the necklace she's wearing. "Gio gave me this this morning. He wanted to give me a promise ring but he knows that I can't wear rings at work and so he gave me this promise necklace. Look at these details. It's so beautiful and so cute.", she says. I put all the boxes we're wearing into the dustbin and then turn to her to look at it closely. It's really beautiful. It's a gold, filigree locket with an engraving that shows a rose. "It's beautiful, may I open it?", I say and my bestie nods. I carefully open the locket and see two things. On the left side there is another engraving, the date when they came together with the coordinates of Dortmund and a heart. On the right side there's a picture of them, a very cute one. It's one that they took when they were in the US in summer. Gio's arms are wrapped around her, one lies one her shoulders and the other one around her waist. Her hands touch the arm around her waist and the two kiss. It's a really beautiful picture and that he made a locket out of it is really cute. "Wow, That's so beautiful! And so cute. I'm so happy for you, really. Gio is such a cutie.", I say while closing the locket. She smiles bright and answers: "He really is. He gave me the locket and said that with this he promises to always be there for me and to love me whatever happens. That made me so fucking happy and I will never take it off. Really, never. It's the most beautiful present I've ever received and I really couldn't be happier.  Eve, thank you so much for introducing us to each other. You changed my life so much with that. I felt like nobody could ever love me, especially because of my father. And then you introduced us and now I'm happier than I thought I'd ever be. Really, thank you so much." Those words are so beautiful that tears fill my eyes. I pull Marie in a tight hug and say: "You really don't have to thank me. You are just made for each other and destiny would've scraped you together anyway." We hug for a moment, then go upstairs again. As we arrive at the living room Maddy hands us two more alcohol free cocktails and we sit down, taking some sips. We decide to watch some love movie, something I would never do for normal, but a girl's night without love movies isn't a real girls' night. As there's a wedding scene Maddy turns to Cami and asks: "Tell us, what does you dream wedding look like?" We're all interested in that and so I pause the movie. Cami blushes a little and then says: "Well... Leo and I both want our wedding to take place in Argentina. In Buenos Aires where our families live there is the palacio sans souci, a wonderful palace where you can get married and we'd love our wedding to take place there. Our second choice would be some wedding location in his home town Villa Mercedes but yeah... The palacio would be our first choice. Both locations have beautiful rooms and gardens which is important to us because we love nature but we also want to have the possibility to sit inside if the weather is bad. My dream decoration is quite plain but very elegant, white and light blue as dominant colours and light pink and gold as accent colours. So the flowers would be white, light blue and light pink, the things such as invitations and menu cards white with gold. Serviettes and those things would be light blue. And there'd be golden chains of light in the bushes outside. So yeah, everything pretty light. That would be perfect. Due to the rather high temperatures in Argentina I'd love to have light food, lots of veggies and fruit and as cake something like lemon or orange. As music I'd like to mostly have soft songs, Spanish, English and French ones. For our first dance I'd love to have tú by shakira. It's the first song we have ever danced to and it's perfect for a slow wedding dance. But until our wedding really takes place some time will probably pass by. Since we want to have all of our friends and family there it'll take place when corona is over. And that will take months or maybe even years." This sounds truly beautiful and we all agree that it will be a wonderful wedding. "Do you already know what your dress will look like?", Gigi asks and Cami shrugs. "Well.. There are some things I really like but in the end I'll have to see what they look like on my body. But yeah... I like rather tigh dresses, mermaid style and with a lot of lace. Long or half long sleeves made from see through lace would be perfect. A neckline that shows my boobs a little but not too much or one that shows my back would also be great but I really don't know what it would look like when I was wearing a dress like that. You all will have to help me choose one as soon as the stores are open again!", she says. We all laugh and agree, then continue watching the movie, enjoying the rest of the evening.
