I hear a loud alarm, probably to wake up. I groan sitting up and barely see the sun up. Why are we waking up this early jeez. I look around and see my roommate sit up slowly rubbing his eyes. I stand up and fix my hair as he does the same.

"why are we up so early?" I ask yawning, Michael glances at me and puts on a shirt

"To explore the campus so we can know what things will be like I guess. Meet people I dont even know" I nod and walk out, him following.

Michael pov

Me and Luke walk out our room and down the hall to the yard. Its cloudy so thats a win-win. I hum walking behind Luke when we walk up to a group of guys in the middle.

"Hey you guys new here?" a guy asks with dark brown curly hair, and a bandana on

"Erm, yeah we got here last night. So what are we supposed to be doing today?" Luke asks looking around

"Play sports together. Um. Just a free day to make friends I guess then tomorrow we do sessions and other stuff." he says looking around the yard

"okay so do you guys know how to play football?" a blonde guy asks and me and luke nod

"good. Were playing that today. Okay so Im niall. That was Harry. Well be on your team. Zayn, Louis, and Liam will be the other. There were two other guys but they went walking off. Okay lets play" he throws the football to me, I nod catching it

Calum pov

Me and Ashton thought it would be better to walk around for the day. There were guys playing sports but its too windy and it might rain. Right now were walking around the benches and spot two girls. Oh this will be insteresting. I nudge Ashton and he looks at me.

"what?" he asks and I glance over at the girls and at him, when he looks at them he looks at me

"what? You wanna talk to them dont you?" he smiled as soon as I blushed a bit. I shake my head

"Not now. Just sit near them and I dunno" I shrug and he nods

Ashton pov

Calum and I take a seat on the bench to the right side of the girls. Why would girls be here like are they crazy or. I dont know well just find out sooner or later. Calum sighs looking at the sky as a rain drop falls in front of us. I look at him and he shrugs.

"Guess itll rain tonight" he says glancing at me then back at the sky.
"Yeah and it sucks that were forced to be out here for another hour for social occasions" he nods kicking a rock far in front of him

"Its kinda boring here to be honest. I cant wait til we get out of here" he dramatically says and I notice one of the girls look over at us.

"Yeah theres nothing to do anymore" I say quite loud causing the other girl to look over

"Trying to get our attention?" One asks and I shrug
"Maybe" I smirk as the girl smiles. She looks so..not insane.

Her dirty blonde hair and green eyes are just..adorable. Then she has some freckles on her cheeks I-no i cant fall for a girl. Not again.

"Im Samantha" she speaks up breaking me from my thoughts
"Ashton"
"Who're you?" She looks over at calum whos throwing rocks into the distance
"Im calum" he says focusing on the rocks

After a moment of silence calum glances at the girl who has been quiet. Shes been writing or drawing in her journal this whole time not one peep coming out her mouth.

"Whos the quiet one..?" I ask looking at her draw something
"Oh her, her name is Skylar but she rarely talks. So she writes or draws her emotions."
"Thats pretty neat" she nods slightly

"Yeah she even writes poems or songs but she doesnt show anyone" she says grinning. Skylar looks up at her and at me, shuffling uncomfortably. Maybe third-wheeling or something I dunno.

"You guys new here?" Samantha asks

"Yeah we just got here"
