7: level five

TP POV:

"There's a level five evil spirit lurking around downtown. You know the drill. Bring it back alive or kill it, doesn't matter to me. I want that spirit gone. Try not to hurt yourselves and make sure to not kill the human" Namjoon ordered as soon as all of team glory was assembled.

Jeongguk sat there absolutely clueless but he trusted that the others will fill him in later.

Hoseok raised his arm asking permission to speak. Namjoon nodded at him. "Permission to bring weapons?" The male asked. Namjoon raised an eyebrow at him. "Of course. It's a level five" the tall male deadpanned.

They all nodded in confirmation and Namjoon hummed in satisfaction. "Meeting dismissed" the six men dispersed to their own rooms so they could change.

It was a tradition and also a rule to always wear all-black clothes during missions. It was the symbol of a grim-reaper. The sign of a forthcoming funeral.

It was law.

They all wore sophisticated attire. In suits or a classy shirt. A turtleneck or a choker for stylistic purposes.

And then there was Jeongguk who looked like a biker mafia dude.

A sexy one in Taehyung's opinion but a biker mafia dude nonetheless. But that was beside the point. They all got dressed and gathered in the main room to power up their weapons.

Just in case things got too out of hand.

What does it mean to power up a soul weapon? you basically summon it from your core. The weapon first stays as fog and then slowly takes its material shape.

Now the thing with soul weapons is that they have special usability unique to the user only. This means, for example, a rifle doesn't need to fire bullets only. It can fire lightning bolts or ice shards too. And no one else can use a soul weapon except for its owner.

Also, a soul weapon changes a bit of its owner's appearance. Such as, eye color may change or tattoos may appear when the weapon is summoned. Each weapon can bring its own unique changes. It isn't the same for every individual.

So when the guys summoned their weapons the changes were surprising to Jeongguk.

Yoongi had twin swords that shone like silver. His black hair getting white highlights on the right section. (Butter era hair)

Jimin had one long sword that had glowing bluish-silver patterns on it. Probably signifying his lightning attribute. His hair turned from brown to blonde.

Hoseok was welding a huge launcher gun. It was twice his size and looked heavy but his strength attribute seemed to take off the load. His eyes burning orange.

Jin looked like a mage. He had a staff in one hand a book hoisted on his hip. It contained healing spells and some spells for defense and attack. His wrists were both covered in tattoos. The language was something they didn't recognize.
