"Come on, hit me" Mazi requested
Azuki swung, but yet again Mazi swiftly dodged, hands still in his pockets.

"How do you expect me to hit you if you keep dodging" Azuki yelled, throwing another wild punch, which Mazi swiftly dodged.

"The whole point of this is for you to land a hit while I'm evading you" Mazi explained voice still monotone.

"Well your not exactly making this easy you know!" Azuki loudly stated. He spun around to sweep his arm at Mazi, hoping to catch him off guard.

Mazi merely ducked out of the way, negating Azuki's efforts.

"First of all, that wasn't a punch, you could've harmed my precious face if I weren't so good. Second, you telegraph your attacks to much. I can tell what your gonna do before you even throw your punch. You can't just" Mazi stopped talking as he made a mocking recreation of Azuki's punches, winding back for such a long time before throwing a wide punch.

The sad thing was, Azuki knew his punches were that bad, he just couldn't stop throwing them that way.

"If you keep winding up so much, your either A, going to be unable to hit someone because they know what's going to happen or B, your gonna have to much power behind your attacks and you could seriously harm someone. Now of course sometimes you'll need to seriously harm someone but that's beside the point" finished Mazi.

Azuki nodded before he sat down on the grass, trying to calm himself down.

It had been one week since Azuki had been accepted into UA. After the initial shock of being accepted, Azuki realized that the time of playing was over. He'd have to train if he wanted to stay with his classmates and not left behind.

Funnily enough, after doing some practicing on his own, Mazi offered to spar with him, so Azuki would be better at fighting.

Fighting huge robots that didn't dodge was one thing, but Azuki was having troubles with a smaller target and one that could nimbly dodge his attacks.

"Thank you for your teachings Sensei Kakutazu, your wisdom belies your many years" Azuki mockingly declared, prostrating himself on the ground before his friend.

"Ah yes, your welcome my blundering pupil" Mazi replied, making his voice like that of an old man.

There was a pause before both of them started cracking up.

Mazi sat down next to Azuki and both were silent for a bit. Since Azuki was this close to Mazi, he could tell Mazi was breathing heavy, the dodging taking more out of him then he let on.

Azuki gestured at the school around them, "I'm gonna miss this place". Mazi shrugged "Eh, the desks weren't even that comfortable to sleep in, especially with that old coot yelling at everything".

Azuki and Mazi sat in one of the schools courtyards, a big open space, empty of anything that they could end up damaging or breaking. Azuki couldn't train at his apartment complex as there were no open spaces to battle in, not to mention how many people were around.

Mazi never offered to go to his house to spar, but then again Azuki didn't even know where Mazi lived.

Their weren't many people at the school at this time, school had been out for awhile so it was mainly just teachers finishing up on grades and whatnot.

"Well you want to get back to it?" Mazi asked, looking over at his metallic friend.

Before Azuki could answer there was a loud "AZUUUKII SHEISHIN!" that came from behind him. Azuki whipped around to see his middle school teacher, Sensei, beckoning him to join her.
