"Ok first question first, how did you get into U.A? You've never cared about schooling or grades. I didn't think you knew what grades were, much less what it took to get them!" Azuki exclaimed as he and his friend walked the path back home.

Mazi shrugged, his hands resting on the back of his head. "I don't know chrome dome, U.A must not be that hard to get into after all".

Azuki playfully shoved Mazi, harder then he anticipated as Mazi lost his balance and started to fall over

"Nyeaauuh!" Mazi bleated as he fell backwards. Azuki caught his arm, just before he hit the ground.

Azuki held him up just enough that if for some reason Mazi still fell, it wouldn't hurt him too bad. However it would probably cause just enough discomfort that it would want to be avoided.

Of course Azuki would need a good reason to drop his one and only friend.

"I'm so sorry about that Maz but while I have you here, care to answer my question for real this time?" Azuki inquired, his grip loosening.

Mazi chortled before answering "Got me in a bit of a bind here don't you bolt bucket? The answer to your question is that my overwhelming good looks were enoug-".

That's a good enough reason for me

Azuki let go, resulting in a satisfying 'Oomph' from his fallen friend. He extended his hand down to pick him up immediately after though because after all, what are friends for?

"My head is stuck to the ground, your gonna have to pull me up" Mazi explained, giving veiled attempts of putting any effort into getting himself up.

Azuki sighed and leaned down, grabbing his friends hand and yanking him up. The earth wasn't so willing to let him go, as clods of dirt clung to his head.

"You uh, got something-" Azuk pointed to the grass and dirt clinging to Mazi's head.

"Ehh, I bet it completes the look" Mazi said, brushing his uniform off, leaving the turf where it was. "Shall we continue?" He said giving a slight bow and gesturing towards the way home.

"You know I didn't actually mean to push you that hard" Azuki clarified as they continued to trod along the path.

"Don't worry about it. I deserved it to be honest. I shouldn't have told you how easy it was to get in, due to an my natural charisma of course" Mazi remarked.

It was times like these where Azuki had wished his father had made a way to roll his eyes but sadly that wasn't the case.

"Seriously though Mazi" Azuki grumbled "I'm dying to know how you got in".

Mazi sighed, his pace slowing slightly. "Your the reason Azuki".

Azuki tilted his head in confusion, not quite sure if he heard Mazi correctly. "How did I get you in? Did you get a good recommendation from being friends with more or?" Azuki questioned.

Mazi turned his head to look at Azuki for a brief moment before stating "For being one of the, if not the smartest person I know, you sure do lack a certain amount of social intelligence".

Azuki frowned on the inside. "I can't possibly be that bad can I?" He asked dishearteningly.

Mazi shook his head in exasperation. "You can't always focus on the bad, I just called you the smartest person I know but you only listened to the second half where I said you can be a bit of a social klutz. You gotta think about the good things first, then the bad."

Azuki nodded, taking Mazi's advice. While he appreciated the compliment, Azuki was pretty sure that Mazi knew like three or five people at most and being at the top of that grouping wasn't that impressive in Azuki's lensed eyes.
