A New Beginning

Flower dance pt.2

After the saloon i invited abby to spend the night. I wanted to talk to her and figure out what was happening. She grabbed her dress and some other stuff and we went back to my place.

Abby:...I'm sorry
Y/N:for?
Abby:...i...i dont really like seb like that i just...i wanted to make you jealous and i wanted you to stop wanting to be around him so much.

Well its only been 20 minutes of being home but at least shes the upfront kinda person cause I didn't really want to fight it outta her.

Y/N:why did you do that though? I mean...youre all my friends so why?
Abby:because he wanted to dance with you. But so do i. So does sam. So does half the town.
Y/N:what?
Abby:yeah. Sam told me he didn't want to dance with penny this year, and even maru said she wanted to dance with you to me. I over heard seb when you forgot to shut off your stream so...this is all stupid.
Y/N:what if i just dont dance?
Abby:no you have to! You have the dress and you look so cute in it...it'd be a shame
Y/N:no i dont think ill dance. Ill skip it. That way this wont have to be an issue.

Abby wasn't changing my mind. I was a little upset but at the same time ecstatic that i could just stream all day instead. it was 2 am and i got a call from Leah, we only really talked a little but I haven't really seen much of her since i gave her my number to help me with pottery stuff.

Leah:hey, y/n I'm so sorry to do this but i have a huge favor
Y/N:sure what's up?
Leah:i uh..i ate a red mushroom by accident and i don't think i can dance tomorrow. Could you take my place with elliot?
Y/N: would he even dance with me?
leah:yeah! I already messaged him what happened and he was really sad he wouldn't be able to dance but then I remembered that you still dont really have a partner. Are you ok with it?
Y/N;um yeah, i just hope you get better.
Leah:thank you so much y/n!

Abby woke up and heard me. I told her what happened and she smiled softly, the light hit her in a way that made her look like a sleepy princess. In the morning we both took our showers and got ready. As abby took her shower i look in the little bag seb brought the other day. It was a cute little white dress just like ours.i put my little guy in it and put it next to sebs on the bed. Abby and i got some coffee and headed down. Seb came from the way that cuts through my farm to get down too.

Seb:hey!
Abby:hey Sebastian
Seb:I'm not mad anymore abs, just dont say sebby.
Y/N:hey

He smiled a t me and they linked arms as we headed down. Shane met with us and so did sam and penny. Shane and i walked up and he stopped me before we entered everyone's line of view.

Shan:hey..h..have you decided you youre dancing with?
Y/N:um actually leah called last night and asked me to fill in with elliot for her. He really loves this dance and she didn't want him to miss it since she was sick.
Shane:oh ok. Well lets go.

We got in and everyone watched shane walk over to emily where. They talked a little. I found elliot staring at the cliff nad walked over to him.

Y/n:hey so leah
Elliot:oh no worries, she has told me the situation. If you do not feel comfortable i dont mind missing the dance.

He looked sad as he said the last few words. It really did mean a lot to him.

Y/N:no elliot, I'd be more than happy to have you as my first flower dance partner.
Elliot:truly?
Y/N:of course!

Lewis called for the dance to start and everyone go in their pairs. The dance was confusing and weird and uncomfortable. I hated every second of it, until i saw elliots face. He looked so happy that he was doing this. I get why Leah didn't want to make him miss it. We all went to the saloon after and drank. Elliot followed me like a puppy while we were there as well.

Shane:what's with mr beautiful
Elliot:me?
Sam:yeah, why are you following y/n?
Abby:do you...like her?
Y/N:leah is sick so he doesn't really know what to do or where to go. It's not like he has many friends guys
Elliot:its sadly true, while i love my isolated beach life it does cause me to miss out on many friendships.
Abby:..y/n is out of town too. But she does just fine making and keeping friends, because she doesn't force people to come out of their way.
Y/N:anyway, we are gonna go to leahs. I think they'd appreciate some medicine.

Elliot looked heartbroken after abby attacked him. Granted she was right but she coulda kept it to her self or just said it kinder. Either way we got to leahs and Elliot stayed there to take care of her. I started to walk back to the saloon. Penny was on her way from helping cleaning up the flower dance.

Penny:oh..uh hi
Y/N:hey penny. How are you today?
Penny:good...sorry I'm bad at talking
Y/N:why dont you come to the saloon? Sam will be there
Penny:...sam..well ok but um i dont drink ok?
Y/N:that's fine. I don't think seb does either
Penny:do you like Sebastian?
Y/N:i dont like to think about romantic feelings. They are too much for me right now. But i do enjoy having him around, the same is said for abby and sam and maru too. But shes really busy so i dont always get to see her.
Penny:oh maru is the best. Shes so smart and nice
Y/N;yeah she really is. I also think harvey and elliot and leah are sweet but i never really hung out with any of them.
Penny:well i know harvey likes coffee. If you wanted you could bring him a cup and strike up a conversation?

We got to the saloon where sam looked ecstatic to see penny next to me. Everyone headed home and i decided to stream.
