Maru and pennys surprise wedding pt.1

It's the 3rd of fall and maru just ran into my house with a mermaid pendant.

Y/N:oh maru see I'm super flattered but um no?
Maru:is that a question? Anyway its not for you numbskull its for penny. I'm just too scared to give it to her?
Y/N:see no that was a question. Shes your girlfriend. She loves you. And you are both good together.
Maru:see yes but also no because what if im just like a phase or whatever oh yoba am i pahse!?
Y/N:maru...you might be a genius but youre a fucking idiot. If you dont ask her to marry you i will ruin it for her and you.
Maru:ok ok but how when how!?

I sat her down and made her calm down. I was excited to see them get married but at the same time it freaked me out, normally when one person gets married around a bunch of people everyone's starts to follow. She talked about how she wanted to ask her by the spa because that's where they had their first kiss. She planned the whole thing and asked me to get her up there tonight. Its was 2 and I had to get Penny up there at 7.

Maru soon left and Shane came by.

Shane:hey, came to check on you and the chickens
Y/n:both are well, what about you?
Shane:ok, I uh...I missed you.
Y/n:I missed you too Shane. Wanna come feed the chickens with me?
Shane:yeah

We went to the new baby's and played with them as they ate the grass.

Shane:you know....youre a really good chicken mom
Y/n:hahaha thanks, couldn't have done it without you
Shane:y/n...I uh I like...
Y/n:Emily likes you you know. She told me. She really wants to be with you.

I knew what he was about to say, I didn't have the heart to deny him. It was better if I told him about Emily. He stayed silent and smiled at me, he knew what I was doing too. He went home and hugged me goodbye, I hope him and Emily do end up being happy together. He really deserves it.

It was 6 and I took Penny up to the spa, she was confused and upset because I didn't want to ruin anything. But when she saw the train stop covered in lights and pretty lanterns she started crying. Maru stood there with the mermaid pendant in her hands. I headed home before she actually asked her. I didnt want to be part of such a personal moment. If penny accepts then they'll be married in 3 days. I wonder where they'll live, maybe at penny's or make their own place? I headed to the saloon, i had dinner ready to be cooked but i just wanted to eat and go to bed, it wasn't a bad day i was just tired. I saw shane and emily in a booth, it looked like they were on a date. It was cute. I headed to the back room where the video games were, usually at least abby is back here but i guess not tonight. It was pretty empty tonight. I played a few games of junimo cart and lost every time...I'm really bad at this game. I started to head back home and saw sam and abby kissing on the bench in front of  the saloon. I smiled at them as i walked away, it was nice to see people in town being in love. Kinda gross but mostly sweet.

*sebs pov*

She...she asked her to marry her. That's wonderful but why the fuck did she ask me to take pictures of the proposal? I watched y/n walk penny up and i took pictures of them from a far, i felt like a stalker but oh well. I took a picture of their kiss and then maru yelled for me to leave. I left the camera in her room and went to the saloon. I saw sam and abby kissing in front of  the saloon and lost my appetite.

Sam:seb?
Abby:oh hey where you going?
Seb:leaving
Sam:why?
Seb:cause i wanted to eat but you two made me loose my appetite.
Abby:are you jealous?

She laughed but i dont think she realized how annoying it was to see them kissing in front of me..its not their fault their happy i just...i just wanted to be the same disgusting way with y/n.

Sam:hey lets play some pool?
Abby:oh yeah! Like old times
Seb:nah, I'm just gonna go to y/ns they probably made dinner anyway.
Abby:are you two dating yet?
Seb:no. She doesn't want to be with anyone yet. Remember?
Sam:i mean maybe she already has somebody and just doesn't want to tell anyone?
Seb:maybe but that would be really shitty if it was true.
Abby:why? It's not like shes been leading you on
Seb:...we kissed.

*Y/N pov*

I was tired but i just dont want to sleep, it seems like too much energy. I decided to pre make my lunch and dinner for tomorrow. I knew if i was this lazy today tomorrow would be easier if i had food covered. I played some loud music and danced around my house cleaning and cooking. once the food was finally done i started playing quieter sad music.

Y/N:man...i..i dont want to deal with this anymore.
Seb:deal with what?
Y/n:s..seb?!
Seb:are you ok?
Y/n:uh yeah i just...dont like fall. Sorry
Seb:really why?
Y/n:i uh i dont wanna talk about it
Seb:ok, well an i have some food? Sam and abs were making out and it grossed me out too much to eat at the saloon.
Y/n:oh yeah i saw that too. It was sweet but a little gross.
Seb:y/n...do you have a.. boyfriend or girlfriend or partner like that?
Y/N:no. I told you a long time ago.
Seb:so...then what happened after i kissed you.

What was i supposed to say? That my brain was all fuzzed and i couldnt be normal anymore. All i wanted was to be with him, but that wasn't fair to myself. I haven't gotten to be like this before.

Seb:hey i have an idea
Y/N:yeah
Seb:lets...lets just pretend that didnt happen ok?
