We went to every house in town. I met everyone by now. At first ill admit i was a little embarrassed but i kept reminding myself that they dont want these things and they are willingly giving them to me to use or to give away in the right place. Seb and Sam started talking about their band as we finally got back, abby chimed in every occasion or so. She was the drummer, sam was lead guitar, and seb was keyboard. He talked about how he knew the bass but it was boring for him to always be on it. Sam talked about how much he loved the music and the idea of being on stage in front of people.
Abby:hey y/n?
Y/N:yeah abs?
Abby: do you want us to start going through the clothes or through the stuff?
Y/N:clothes. Those are more important
We threw out all the super old fashioned weird clothes, and anything with neon colors. By the end of it all i had 3 pairs of pants that fit me perfectly, 20 extra shirts that i loved, and only 1 hoodie. That was sebs hoodie. Sam and abby put the rest of the clothes in bags for me to give to donations, now for the stuff.
Seb:ok...who gave you a broken toaster?
Y/N:that's funny, it doesn't matter just toss it if it doesn't work
Sam:that's really rude though. They are just giving you trash?
Y/N:that's what happens when you ask people for stuff they dont want. Sometimes they just give you actual garbage that they weren't ready to give up on. I see nothing in this toaster but maybe the person who gave it to me saw a little project that they never started.
Abby:that's a nice way of thinking of it instead getting angry.
Lewis soon came by. He sat on the porch watching us organize the trash and the stuff i could use.
Lewis:so, what are you gonna do about the donations since you dont own a car?
Y/N:actually lewis i was gonna ask you tomorrow but, do you think i could use your truck? I have a license and everything i just never saw a point in driving a lot in the city since i lived so close to work.
Lewis:...i suppose but before i let you I need you to drive with me so i know my precious baby is in good hands.
Gross...the way he said it made it sound really uncomfortable. Normally i dont care when people talk about their cars like their kids or their partners but it was just...weird when he said it.
Seb:you could go now? We've got this part, and if you can drive at night then you can drive in the day.
Lewis:ill go grab the truck then
Y/N:awesome, see you in a minute
I put a few things away from the group so they had more space. Lewis honked his horn and moved to the passenger seat. We drove toward the desert, which wasn't very far, and back. It took maybe 30 minutes to an hour. Lewis patted my back and handed me the keys.
Lewis:remember to fill her up and bring her back after youre done.
Y/N:...you know i wont be going anywhere tonight, right?
Lewis:oh dont worry, i only leave the town once every 6 months to meet with other town mayors. It'll be another 4 months before i need it back.
Y/N;well you wont have to wait that long. Thanks lewis.
He walked back home and i moved the truck onto my farm locking it. Abby and Sam laughed when they saw me hop out. I wasn't sure why they were laughing, the car wasn't bigger than me, in-fact if fit my height well. Seb was red in the face and it looked like he was about to throw up. I sit down with the group and look over at them.
Y/N:what's funny?
Abby:sorry, seb told us about the..bra incident
Sam:and the underwear one!
My face got hot. I didn't realize there was an underwear incident! I thought i tucked my underwear in my shirt so he wouldn't see them!
Abby:so...cherry skulls
Y/N:please stop.
Abby:hey since tomorrow we are getting all this donated and going to zuzu anyway why dont we buy you some new under...clothes haha
Sam:wait if you guys are doing that then what about me and seb?!
Seb:we can just buy her extra stuff. Like house stuff.
Y/N:oh that's a great idea, you know my taste anyway so that works perfectly.
Sam:oh you do?
They made fun of us and abby and i put all the bags in the bed of the truck. The boys got the trash to throw it away and then we realized its 1am.
Abby:can we just spend the night?
Y/N:um sure but i dont really have extra pillows or anything
Seb:no problem, weve slept on worse before
Sam:he's right, we used to rough it outside when we were little and when we were teenagers too.
Abby:yeah we dont really care, i just know my parents locked the doors and I didn't leave my window unlocked
Sam:yeah same
Seb:i honestly just dont wanna go home haha
Y/N:well lets get some sleep then.
I passed out as soon as i hit the bed. I woke up to abby and sam and seb all on the bed with me cuddling. I was in the middle, abby was on one side and sam and seb were on the other. The boys were cuddling each other and i took a bunch of pictures. I woke up abby too so she had the blackmail as well.
Abby:i cant wait to torture them.
Y/N:we should wait though. Make it seem like we had no idea they were cuddling until its super embarrassing
And with that, sam woke up and stared at us.
Sam:its not embarrassing! You two cuddled too
Abby:but...its you guys its like the sun and moon cuddling
Seb:there's a whole love story about them actually.
Y/N:yeah and there's one about how the sun was so jealous of the moon and oceans relationship that they separated the two so who's the ocean sam?
Sam laughed and so did the rest of us soon enough. Now we have to get ready.
