Idle town by Conan Grey

A shiver ran up A-Rin's spine when her bare feet hit the cold floor. Her body hurt from the night's events however she was happier than ever. Grabbing Namjoon's shirt, she buttoned it up letting it cover her naked body. Her pale skin prickled with the cold gush of wind making her turn towards the open balcony showing a shirtless Namjoon wearing nothing but sweats leaning on the railing staring out into the steely cold city of Seoul. It's skyline dotted with illuminated houses the lights reflecting off the river's water.

The moon was still up waiting for the sun.

Her feet softly padded on the floor toward Namjoon, toes curling with every sting of the freezing cold. She wrapped her arms around his waist startling him. "Did I wake you?" He asked placing his warm hands over her small intertwined ones knowing she got cold fast. "No." She mumbled pressing her frozen cheek on his surprisingly warm back, the light red marks staring back at her. "Aren't you cold?" She mumbled nuzzling her face. He chuckled bringing her hands to his lips pressing a kiss to the small bundle. "Not as long as I have you." He said loving how even after a year she still had paint underneath her nails.

She smiled feeling his warm breath thaw away the numbness . How lucky was she ?

"Baby?" He called out to her, his deep voice melting her "Hmm?" She asked lazily basking in his body heat. "What do we have for us tomorrow?" He mumbled drawing her body forward in front of him, pinning her to the railing. "What do you mean?" She asked eyebrows furrowing. He reached out straightening out the skin between her brows "What are we?" He finally asked running his large hand on her naked thigh. She pushed her short hair back only for it to be messed up by the wind again. She rested her hands on his bare chest feeling his heart beat flutter against her fingertips, "I want to love you namjoon, I wan't to be someone who can hold your hand and not have it be an accident. I don't care for labels..I know it makes your job harder." She said smiling. "As long as I get to do that I can be anything..if that's what you want that is." She said. He nodded pressing his lips to her forehead "Then be my penguin." He said pressing their foreheads. "You're my penguin." He whispered again watching her lips stretch out into that damned grin. "And knight's mine." She joked earning a soft squeeze to her arse making her yelp. "Fine, it's you. you were always my penguin."

"I don't even know when you became this important to me" She murmured drawing shapes on his chest. "I didn't know what to do without you for a while." She laughed lightly, neither of them raised their voice more than a decibel afraid of waking up the sleeping city.

"Nothing made sense anymore and I was lost, joon. I thought I despised you but every night I'd always sleep listening to your voice." She chuckled as namjoon swayed the both of them slightly to the the wind. "I'm happy now, with you, like this." She said kissing over his heart. "You're my person, my penguin."

Namjoon adored her. Every little thing she did was filled with so much affection that anyone could see it. "I promise I'll protect you." He said raising their linked arms up above as she spun laughing before landing on his chest clumsily "My hero." She joked earning another squeeze to the arse. This was happiness, true happiness. Strip everything from Kim Namjoon except his silver and he'll still be the happiest man in the world.

"So, what's your plan next?" He asked as they slow danced to the moon, her head resting on his beating heart wondering if there was a way to paint it. "Think about how to tell my brother I'm with you." She mumbled sleepily. "Oh he knows." Namjoon snickered knowing if it wasn't for ji tae's brutal words he would've chickened out. She fought off the sleep weighing down on her eyelids. "Let's go baby." He chuckled lifting her up in his arms.

Just like the night leaves and the morning comes

The spring leaves and summer comes, just like the flower wilts and the fruit grows ripe

Everything needs to go through pain

Embrace the word and suck in a breath

That prickling air that fills up your lungs, it says everything

Everything everything everything goes
