"Yes, I'm free today." She said balancing her phone between her cheek and shoulder. Her hands were busy scrubbing the paint off each other. It was sure to stay for a few days, god why didn't she just put off her sleepiness till after she cleaned the paint.

"Great, Namjoon filled me about your situation and don't worry I have some beautiful apartments waiting to be occupied." The realtor cheered through the phone. A-Rin winced at his loud tone but nonetheless she was grateful.

"Alright then, where do I meet up with you?" She asked wiping her hands on her jeans before cupping her phone and walking into the living room.

"How about at the coffee shop across Younsai...say..around 6 pm?"

A-Rin nodded although he couldn't see before she voiced out a yes.

"Sir!" She called out right before he could cut the call, Ji-tae looked up from his bowl of cereal watching why his sister was hesitationg "Yes?"

"Uh.." She licked her lips pushing her embarrassment to bay "W-when did you last hear from namjoon?"

She could sense the man was hesitating to answer but he sighed through his nose giving in "Two days ago." He said.

'He's okay'

"Thank you." She said only to be met by the tone of the call ending. She was supposed to be happy, relieved that he was alright, Namjoon was okay. But nothing felt right. She felt a sudden hand reaching out from the floor weighing her heart down.

"What was the one thing that scared you the most?" She asked, feet dangling from the edge of the building, Namjoon's hand held onto her coat afraid she would fall. He was safely standing behind the compound wall on the roof top, next to her sitting form.

"Telling my parents I wanted to become a rapper." He snorted. The image of a scrawny boy standing in front of his parents coloured her mind.

She turned her head to look at him, his grip on her coat tightening. "I was terrified, my hands were sweaty, I swore I peed a little" He laughed, a fond smile broke on her lips watching him reminisce. "Did they accept?" She asked, finding his eyes with hers, anticipation glint in it. The wind blew between the both of them, the moon created this halo around her.

"No." He laughed lightly wrapping his arm around her waist. "I don't want you falling." A faint blush dusted her cheeks. 'I might'

"So what did the rebel do?" She chuckled, flicking his forehead.

"I wrote in all my career forms... that I wanted to become a rapper, pestered my parents, sneaked out late to participate in competitions, stayed up writing lyrics until they gave up." He laughed thinking about his tomato angry face of his dad, his sister praying for his life somewhere in the corner and his mum stopping him from getting one too many black eyes.

"My mum showed me her support first." he said. A-Rin's lips gave way to a breathtaking grin, it was almost as if she could feel his happiness. The hand around her waist pulled her a little closer to him, his warmth raising hairs on her arms.

"What did she do?" She whispered, their closeness intoxicating.

"She bought me a mic." He rolled his eyes. "That's sweet, you go momma Kim!" She pumped her fist up almost losing her balance, a squeal cut through their small whispers. Namjoon's heart dropped now heavy with fear as he pulled her back closer to him crushing her into his chest. Her heart flipped in her chest as she gripped onto the arms holding her tight. She could feel his thumping heart through her back, his ragged breathing against her ears "I'm fine." She was not fine. But she was safe, in his arms, her body pressed to his with the solid compound wall seating her firmly. He said nothing, just held her there for a while before he was sure she was alright. "I'm sorry." She said climbing back onto the safety of the floor. His face turned to the ground not meeting her gaze. "H-Hey, I'm sorry." She choked out stepping closer, fingers brushing his shoulder.
