Chapter 16

Autumn

I don't know how long the car moved. All I could remember is getting constantly thrown against the sides of the vehicle as it made sharp turns every few minutes.

I was bleeding in several spots, and bruises were already starting to form. I started crying again, realizing I was probably never going to go back home.

Why did I trust him? Why? Stupid stupid stupid!

Then everything was still, and I heard movement outside the vehicle. The door was opened, and I was blinded by a flashlight shining in my eyes.

" Hey there pretty girl. How are ya?" a coarse voice asked, feigning concern.

" Leave me alone you bastards!" I yell, crawling away from the men standing in the doorway.

" Little brat still had some feistyness in her still. Looks like we are gonna have to fix that."

The men chuckled and the climbed into the vehicle, pinning me down on the car. They cuffed me and dragged me out of the vehicle, throwing me against the pavement. Pain shoots through my left shoulder as it takes the blunt of the fall, and it starts throbbing.

It was night time, and it was snowing lightly.

" What do you want with me?" I choke out, struggling to breathe.

" Such a silly question? Do you live under a rock? There is a high reward for anyone who brings a werewolf to Mr. Red."

" Mr. Red?"

" Yeah. The boss." one of the smaller guys said.

" Hey shut it. Only I get to speak." The lead guy said, glaring at the small guy. He punches the smaller guy in the arm.

" Oww. Okay okay." the smaller guy said, rubbing his arm.

" Anyways. Let's go." He gestured to me and his goons came and picked me up. They formed a semi circle around me and forced me to walk behind the lead guy, who was walking towards a dark building.

I looked around, but in the darkness and gloomyness i was unable to see anything else other than the ominous building in front of me.

A door opened automatically and I walked inside a dark room, scared. I was angry too. Angry at them. Angry at myself. Angry at Danny.

" Zane. Why have you come? I told you only to return when you had the Blood Moon werewolf." the echoed around me, and dim lights flickered on.

I was in a giant room with only a chair in the middle, a person sitting on it, surrounded in shadows.

" This is his significant other. He will be here shortly. In fact, i think that is him." I heard the door behind me open and i looked behind me and i saw Danny being dragged in, wrapped in chains and unconscious.

"Danny!" I screamed, trying to shove my way past the guys to him.

I don't care if I'm angry at him... I still care.

I saw an arm swing towards my head and it hit me before I could dodge it. Pain erupted from my head and I fell to the ground.

" So you got him? Did you have to use the silver bullet?"

" Yes sir I did have to use it.  He was starting to change into his full form."

" Really? So soon? He shouldn't be able to do that at his young age. No matter. We have him. Leave them both. Your reward will be given to you outside in 30 minutes."

" You said we would be paid up front! Give us the money now!"

" Tsk tsk. It's then or never. Now goodbye."

Two men came out from the shadows and took us away before the men could respond, and they walked out, grumbling.

Soon I was surrounded in darkness, unable to see where I was going.

Where are they taking us? Who are they? What are they going to do to us? What is the Blood Moon werewolf?

" Now, Earth Moon werewolf, please be cooperative with me. I don't want to have to take unnecessary actions against you."

Earth Moon werewolf??

I was thrown into a room and I heard the door shut and lock.
