As fast as lightning, I grabbed the syringe and yanked it out of my arm, simultaneously elbowing the guy in the nose. There was a spike of pain in my right arm where I yanked out the needle, and a steady stream of blood flowed out, but I ignored it.

The guy screamed and fell backwards, clutching his broken nose.

I stood up and watched him for a second, gripping the syringe tightly. I glanced at the syringe, then stabbed the guy in the leg with it.

He screamed even more as my blood flowed into him.

" You... You... AHHH" he stuttered, before crying out again. I stared at him as he started writhing. His skin started to wrinkle, and blood started spilling from his mouth, nose, eyes, and ears.

I turned away and ran out the door, slipping the syringe into my coat pocket.

I froze when I heard the wolf howl. It came from behind me.

This time though, I understood what the howl meant.

The hunt is on.

I turned around, and there stood the guy who was taking my blood. His body was covered in blood. He had patches of fur all over his body, and his face was half wolf half human. His eyes were cat like, yellow with black slits.

" You shouldn't of done that girl. I can't live long, but you just gave me wolf power. And I will try to kill you as long as I live, because you are worthless now." he growled. His voice was hoarse, and I could barely understand his words.

" Autumn!"

Someone was banging on the door next to me.

Danny.

I watched the guy in front of me carefully, slowly waking towards the door.

He growled, saliva falling from the corners of his mouth. I felt my panic starting to rise, but I pushed that feeling aside.

He's mad. I have to hurry.

I placed my hand in the door knob, trying not to provoke the guy into charging.

I slowly opened the door, and Danny burst out of the room. He looked at me and smiled.

That caused the guy to charge, growling.

Danny turned around, smile fading. I stared in shock at his back. His black shirt was tattered, ripped by dozens of slashes, probably from a belt or a whip.

" Your back..."

" Go! Leave him to me. Get out of here." he yelled, pushing me away from him, getting ready to fight.

" Your in no condition-"

" GET OUT!" his tone was forceful, and he pushed me again, desperate. " I don't want you getting hurt! Hurry!"

I backed away, tears threatening to spill. The guys eyes were still locked on me, saliva spilling from his mouth like a waterfall.

Adrenaline flowed through me, and my fight or flight instinct kicked in. I turned away, running down the hall, away from the guy.

Please... Don't die. Don't die...

I heard another wolf howl, this time coming from where I was running. It was an answer to the first howl.

Its time to hunt.

I turned a corner, and skidded to a stop when I saw red eyes staring at me from a dark room.
