Chapter 15: Back Home

[Y/N POV]

Hannah: A-Are you really sure you wanna go back?

Y/N: I-I h-have to! There's things there that I need! Like clothes and all!

Hannah: The school can provide you with clothes! And besides, when I introduce you to my parents they'll buy some new ones for you!

Y/N: I-I don't want to be a leech Hannah! Your parents might be willing to, but I can handle myself!

I could see the look of concern on Hannah's face. I had said while we were sat around on the grass that I wanted to go home and pick up some clothes.

Hannah: They won't care! I'm being honest! You are such a lovely person and they would be as willing as I am to help you!

She leans in and gently kisses me and pushes herself up against me.

The way the two of us met and all made it seem impossible that we would end up in this position.

Hannah: Just...don't push yourself to go somewhere that you don't want to be Y/N. But if you really do want to go then I'll be there by your side!

Y/N: I-I have t-to go. Please.

Hannah: Like I said, I'll be there beside you!

I nod my head and smile.

Y/N: Thank you.

This time I leaned in and placed my lips onto hers. She seemed a little taken back at first but soon melted into it.

Hannah: Wow! You're becoming more confident~!

Y/N: I-I'm trying my best.

She giggles and rests her head on my chest and sighs happily.

Hannah: We'll go back and do what you want to and then we have to make our way back to Luna Nova.

I nod my head and before I could say anything else, Hannah lifted her head up from my chest and stares into my eyes.

Hannah: And before you protest or say anything else, you are going to be sleeping in my dorm again!

Y/N: B-But-.

She puts a finger in my lips and places her other hand on my cheek.

Hannah: I know you don't want to break the rules or abandon your friends but I'll be honest with you, I sleep better with you in my arms. You have this relaxing aura around you.

I didn't realise I had that much of an effect on her but I was glad that I did.

Y/N: I-I'd have to tell the others but that's what I'm scared of the most. I don't want to let them down.

I was grateful that I had a girlfriend like Hannah but I also really loved having friends as great as Akko and the others. The first the ones to make me properly feel welcome.

Hannah: I might not get along with them, but I don't want to ruin the relationship you have with them! You don't need your little heart to be broken again!

She moves the hand that was on my cheek down to my chest where my heart was.

Y/N: Th-thank you. For giving me this chance.

Hannah: I should be the one thanking you! I-I didn't treat you very well at the beginning...

She looked away seemingly upset so I took my hands and put them on either side of her face and turn it to face me.

Y/N: And yet here we are! I-I know you were just adapting Hannah. Everyone finds it difficult sometimes.

A smile spreads across her face as I run my thumbs on her cheeks.
