Chapter 18: A Perfect Fit

Hannah: See!! I told you they would allow it!!

Hannah was showing me the letter that was sent as a reply to her request of me going as her plus one.

And to say she was happy was an understatement...

Hannah: Come here!!

She threw her arms around me and began to pepper my face with kisses. It was great to see that she was happy I was able to go.

Y/N: I-I guess you were right after all...

Hannah: Of course I am! They invited me so they have to put up with any requests that I have!

She pecks me gently on the lips and giggles.

Hannah: My Mum and Dad said that they would send some stuff for you!

Y/N: O-ok.

I was in slight shock that they actually accepted me to go. I wonder what Hannah put in that letter.

Hannah: And I know I said my parents would send the stuff, but I actually think we are going into town to go and meet them to pick it all up!

Ah. There was the hidden detail that I was kinda expecting.

I was going to meet Hannah's parents...

Y/N: R-Really? C-cool...

I could feel my nerves and my timidity coming back again. I had managed to get better, but the thought of being introduced to her parents made me so nervous.

Hannah: I can see how nervous that makes you feel Y/N. There is no need to be! They are so eager to meet you!

She put her head on my chest and sighed happily.

Hannah: I told them that you were of a lower class. I-I was scared about what they would say, b-but they thought it was good for me! I would never want to have a toxic relationship with another family like mine.

Y/N: Th-the fact that I'm the only representative of my family might help things as well. They won't care about what happens to me!

Hannah: I told them that as well. And they said that once we are finished here at Luna Nova, there is always a place for you to stay.

She lifts her head up and smiles.

Hannah: We'll never be apart...

She leaned in and gently placed her lips onto mine. Very quickly, she melted into it and allowed me to hold onto her.

Hannah: I love you~.

Y/N: I love you too...

I really hoped that Hannah's parents would accept me once they saw me...

I couldn't go through being rejected by a family again.

Hannah: Please baby! Calm down! They'll be over the moon once they meet you!

I was nervous. Really nervous. So much so I was shaking a little while me and Hannah walked through town.

Y/N: A-Ah I don't know what has gotten into me! I-I'm a-a nervous wreck!

Hannah: You have gotten a bit more confident, but it is who you are! There is no need to be ashamed, and really there is no need to be nervous!

As much as she said it, there was no stopping me from turning into an absolute wreck.

Hannah: Ok they're meant to meet us here! Don't worry Y/N! They'll love you!

She hugs me tightly as we wait to be met by her parents.
