31. Final

I woke up slowly as I felt light touches in my head. My head was pounding and as I opened my eyes I notice my vision was blurred. As the light got to my eyes they started to go back to normal. I looked up to see who was touching me. I noticed that I had my head resting in Klaus' lap and he was patting my hair softly.

"Hey there Love." He murmured low. "How are you feeling?" I started sitting up but Klaus forced me to lay down again. "You fainted."

"I'm okay Klaus. " I muttered and started sitting up again. This time he didn't forced me to lay down again. " What happened? "

" My mother's dead and Finn is daggered. There is no more dangerous for us." He said as he layed down beside me. I layed too and turned my head to him. "I thought you were going to choose Elijah." He said looking to the ceiling. "Why did you chose me?"

"When I closed my eyes all I could see and think about was you. That's why I chose you. And I don't regret my choice." I turned and layed my head on his chest.
"Elijah is a fair deal. He is honourable and has good intentions." He paused. "I'm a monster. I don't care about anyone else but me." He said almost revolted.

"Elijah is a keeper... But not my keeper. Klaus you're not a monster and you've given me proofs of that. We just need to know each other better and believe in each other. We need to trust. " He looked down at me and our eyes locked gazes.

" You really feel that? " He asked doubtful. I nodded. He sat on bed and pulled me to his lap. His hands were grabbing by my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his face started leaning in. In a second our lips touched. His kiss was soft and his grip strong. Our lips moved in perfect sync and he started hardening the kiss. This is who I want to be. And this creature upon me is the man I want to be with for the rest of my life... And hell it's a long life.

It's been two months since I made my choice and I couldn't be happier. I told Klaus about the night I had with Damon. He was a little mad in the beginning but he forgave me.

Klaus is so different... Is loving and caring, (mostly for me...) but he's making an effort to have his family together and without silly feuds. Rebekah and I became good friends. Kol decided he wanted to leave and travel through the world but he promised me he'd bring me a souvenir from each of his stops. Elijah is happy with us but he passes most of his days with Marcel training new vampires.

Elena is now with Damon. Thank God!!! Damon calls me everyday telling me Mystic Falls news and so does Caroline. Jeremy is in Chicago in an Art Academy. Damon told me that something is going on between Caroline and Stefan. Bonnie is sad that Jeremy left but I bet she'll move on. It was actually her idea for him to leave and make a right choice for himself without any Supernatural stuff attached.

The doorbell ringed.

"I'll go! " I screamed. I put down my diary and the pen in the table in front of the couch and got to open the door. But when I got there Klaus was already at the door. " Who is it? " I asked. Klaus looked at me with a hurtful look. That's not normal. I got closer. And I could finally see who it was... No way! He's here...
