6. Deal

I drove as fast as I could to the Town Square to find Stefan and finally put an end to Damon's tragedy. I walked through the amount of people that walked by to get the see the movie. I could see Stefan and Elena in the other side of the fountain talking. She looked a little bit disturbed I bet Stefan couldn't keep his mouth shut. His brother specifically asked him not to tell my sister anything and what does Stefan do? Tell Elena! I walked towards them with a serious face but I couldn't help the fact that I was feeling happy for the simple fact that I have an opportunity to save Damon.

"Hey. What did you find?" I completly ignored Elena cause I know she's going to give me the 'Why didn't you tell me?' speech.

"I can't believe you knew about it all the time and you didn't tell me?" She asked offended. I can't believe how selfish she's being right now. "How could you be so selfish?"

"Selfish? I was being selfish? I did what he asked me to do." I told her pointing at me.

"You just don't care if I have the chance to say goodbye because you actually are jelous of me." She told me confident. I can't believe her!!! I know she likes him and all, but she's going a bit too far.

"He didn't want you to get worried. I bet you understand why!" I told her. She wide her eyes like I had told her a really big secret.

"You don't care about no one or anything! You're a monster!" She screamed at me and ran away leaving me and Stefan completely speechless.

"I think you should go talk to her..." Stefan said with an apologetic smile.

"Let's get the cure we can talk later. We have time Damon doesn't." We walked towards my car in silence. I walked into the pasenger and Stefan inyo the drivers seat. He conviced me that I was too nervous to drive. He wouldn't die but I would.

He drove for a few minutes until we reach Alaric's apartment.

"This is Alaric's place. Isn't Klaus here?" I asked as I took a peek outside the window towards the street on my side.

"The witches says Klaus has the cure." He's kidding right? Klaus? How can Klaus heal Damon. I don't like this, not even a bit.

We got out of the car and walked towards Alaric's apartment. We climbed a few steps and got ready to walk in. When we got in, Katherine was sitting in the bed staring at nothin, probably deep in thought.

"Hello Katherine." Stefan walked in and closed the door behind us. She got up and her face looked like she was desperate to see us.

"Two days I've been waiting!" She told us not really amused but who could blame her she was stuck in this tiny apartment looking at the white walls and getting crazier than she already is.

"I should be free from Klaus' compulsion by now. He's suppose to be dead." Katherine was truly upset with this all situation. How is she going to react at the news we bring?

"We had a few complications." I told her looking at her that was not happy with my words.

"Complications?" Katherine's temper is starting to run out...

"Doesn't really matter. We just need to find him." She took a quick glance at the both of us. "Do you have any idea where he might be?" Katherine rushed us in vampire speed towards another division of this tiny apartment and told us to keep quiet. What is she doing? Suddenly a door swang open.

"Klaus, you're back!" Katherine muttered looking at me. My heart was beating so fast that almost jumped out of my chest. She pulled me by my arm towards the spot where we were before so Klaus could see me. Stefan followed us. "Look who decided to come for a visit." He smirked at me and his eyes had a certain sparkle, like he was actually glad to see me. Behind him it was Elijah.
