15. A Little Walk

Sam's POV
We walked in silence for a while. I didn't know where we were going but Klaus seemed very thoughtful all the way. What the hell is he thinking? I finally noticed we were walking into some kind of tree park. The ones that cities usually have to run, walk around with the puppy's and make some picnics with the kids. He sat under a tree's shadows and gestured for me to seat with him. We leaned against a tree and kept silent. Something's wrong with Klaus, he hasn't done a sarcastic comment or tried me to kiss me.

"What's up with you?" I asked taking my eyes off a little slide and a few kids in it and looked at him. He kept looking into empty space.

"Nothing, love." He didn't looked at me. Okay now I know something's wrong. I crawled until I was front of him. He had his knees near his chest and he locked his eyes with mine.

"I know you are not okay. What's going on?" I asked him getting closer. He looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. "What's wrong?"

"It's Jade. I don't know what she's doing here and I'm sure she is going to get in trouble and mess with us." He told me softly.

"I don't care what Jade does or not. Let's just enjoy our day. Give me a smile." I gave him a large smile and he smiled back. "This is a beautiful place."

"Come here." He told me. He put his legs down and opened them so I could turn around and seat in the middle and rest my head on his shoulder.

"I have been wanting to ask you this... What do you know more about my real parents?" He smirked and kissed my cheek.

"Your mother was beautiful, just like you. And you have your father's personality." He wrapped his arms around my stomach.

"That's not enough. Have you heard anything from them?" I looked up to see his face.

"No. But in that time I hired a vampire to track them. Last time I knew they were in Washignton." I turned my eyes to the park again. "Do you have any interest in knowing them?"

"A little I mean they are the people who actually brought me to his world. But I don't know... I'm not exactly the perfect daughter."

"Nobody is perfect and you should know that. They would love you just because you are their daughter." I smiled and nodded.

"I think we should return. We have to figure out what Jade wants." He nodded. We got up and walked away.
