Chapter Ten : Triggered

"You and Seungkwan met how again?"

Chan asks confused as he watches Vernon smiles and laugh. It was his first time seeing Vernon's side and it made him relieve honestly.

He was happy that Vernon is trying to move on. He lost someone he didn't want to lose and Chan can't blame him for hating himself for it.

"Well, Sofia was the first one who met Seungkwan honestly"

Vernon chuckles sadly recalling the past  events. Vernon is weak for Sofia and He knows to himself that suffering just by just hearing or saying her name but he tries to be strong for her.

"I mentioned that Sofia saw me kill our parents right?"

Vernon asks as Chan nods slowly "Well, that day Sofia seemed to be traumatized so she went out to get some fresh air"

Vernon took a deep breath as Chan continue to listen to him attentively "That day, she went to this dark place and it was night at that time so she was almost harassed by these group of men"

"If I didn't come earlier, worst things might had happen but things had turn out unexpectedly. There were more of them so I thought that I'll be leaving with broken bones not until Seungkwan came"

Vernon smiles at the memory that he recalled "He helped me and he helped Sofia since she has asthma at that time. He then offered me to join them and as time passes by, I don't see him as a friend"

"But my future husband"

Chan chuckles to himself as his thought was correct, the two was really in some connection.

"Are you guys together?"

Chan asks as Vernon shook his head "No, not yet" Chan frowns at Vernon's response as he really expected they're a couple already.

"But I'm courting him"

Chan Smiled as he threw a pillow to Vernon "You have balls!"

"Fucker" Vernon chuckles as he threw the pillow back to Chan.

The two became close unexpectedly. They didn't expect that they'll be this close but the two of them are thankful.

"Guys?"

Seokmin entered as the two stopped their actions "Hey, did something happen?"

Vernon asks making Seokmin nod "Soonyoung hyung and Seungkwan hyung are fighting, it seem serious though"

Seokmin said as Chan heard Vernon curse before running to Seungkwan. "Is there something I need to know?"

Chan asks as Seokmin nodded "Yeah, but Soonyoung hyung will tell you that by himself"

Seokmin then dragged Chan as Chan just allows himself to be dragged around. As they got near, shouting was to be heard making Chan Curious.

As they got there, they saw Seungkwan and Soonyoung being held by Woozi and Vernon. Woozi seemed annoyed while Vernon seems to be Concerned.

The others were only watching as they didn't want to get involve in these shits. Though, the 95 liners were the only one who wasn't present because of their business.

"Where did you fucking get that stuff toy?!"

Hoshi shouted as He was being held by Woozi from behind. Chan was curious about their thoughts as he didn't know what to do but watch.

"How bad can a stuff toy get huh?! I just fucking bought it in the store!"

"You knew what triggers me and Why bring that shit up?! You knew how much trauma and pain seeing a stuffed toy does towards me and you bought and exact replica!"

Sooyoung broke down unto tears as he ran towards upstairs trying to calm himself down. Woozi glared at Vernon and Seungkwan before running to Soonyoung.

Seungkwan took a deep breath as he seems like he felt guilt. He was guilty for buying that stuffed toy but he had a reason.

"Why did you even buy that?" Vernon asks making Seungkwan chuckle sadly "I was trying to help him"

"Didn't you both go to the store just by now? If I wasn't mistaken."

Mingyu asks the Seungkwan as Seungkwan nodded slowly before sighing.

"Yeah, and we passed by this toy shop. He said he wanted to remove his fears of stuffed toys but when I bought him one this happened."

"He was shaking and crying when he saw the toy, of course I would be worried so I'm trying to help him"

Seungkwan finishes off making the group silent. They understood both side but none had a solution.

"You can't just rush a trauma to be fixed"

Chan spoke making the group surprise. He was usually silent with the group not until he was spoken individually

"It's hard to fix a trauma especially if that one simple thing in the eyes of others triggers you. Give him time to heal, we aren't in his state to speak how difficult his situation is. Let's just understand since we all felt the same pain but we differ in experience."

They smiled at Chan's word as they knew he is finally opening up to the group. They knew they chose the right person and they're happy because of it.

"I'm gonna go first, my door is open if you need something"

Chan bid his good bye as he walked to his room. He closed the door sighing as he had a bad feeling for tomorrow but he decided to shrug it off.

He went to the bathroom as he began to cut himself. Every droplets of blood made him smile. Every tear that came out because of the pain made him happy.

He's crazy but he isn't the only one.

Chan chuckles cutting his skin using the scissor as he allows the blood to flow through his skin.

As people says, Pain is pleasure.

Every pain is worth it just to make himself smile. At least he's near to the goal he wanted.

He was excited to finally get revenge for her. He knew he wasn't close to these but at least he finally had the motivation to try.

He tried and that's what matters for Chan. Even if his life is at the line, he's willing to give it up for her.
