A/N: requested by deathbytokyo . Jay x Gil ft Uma and Harry. Hope you like it and it's up to your standards. It's only 300 words or so - my apologies, but I'm struggling with the dreaded writers block at the moment.

Jay was nervous. Scratch that, he was terrified. The reason? He wanted to take Gil out on a date, but he didn't want to get in the way of Gil's familial relationship with Uma and Harry. The boy with long hair stood outside the door to Gil's dorm room.

He knocked once. Twice. Three times on the door. A few moments of silence before the soft sounds of foot falls crept closer to the other side of the door. The door opened to reveal Harry and Uma. Jay gulped in fear, but stood his ground.

The teal haired girl looked him up and down while the pirate boy stared into his eyes. Searching for an mal intentions.

"What do you want?"

"I'm here to pick up Gil for a date."

Jay was surprised at how strong and sure his voice sounded. He was so certain it would crack and break. He was very careful not to let his emotions show too much on his face. Harry finally tore apart their stare down and nodded.

Hook's son turned and headed back into the room while Uma remained glaring at Jay. The male could see the undisguised distrust that lingered in her gaze.

"Your intentions."

A question. Not the statement it presented itself as. Jay tilted his head to one side slightly before answering with an even tone.

"Date him, love him, make him my boyfriend, marry him, love him, start a family with him, never leave him until death tears us apart."

He blinked.

"Only if he wants and lets me."

Her turn to blink. The staring contest continued until the door opened to find Gil hidden behind it. The two turned to him. Uma nodded and smiled before going to join Harry inside the room. Gil and Jay walked off towards the garden, hand in hand.
