NOTE: This one is based on my own idea. Part two. This one is (quite) short, (pretty) fluffy and yeah. Enjoy.

They stepped back, slightly shocked at the sight of the tears that were making their way down his face. Carlos stepped forwards - slowly at first, then quicker. He pulled Gil into a hug and began to whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

"It's okay. It's fine. You're here. I'm here. Don't worry. It's okay. I won't let them hurt you. Nothing can hurt you while I'm here. You're okay. Don't worry."

Jay tried to pull him away, but Carlos wouldn't let him. Evie told him to give up on trying to pull the boys apart. Carlos told them shakily what had happened, Gil was using his thoughts to talk to Carlos.

Mal came to the conclusion that Gil must be Carlos' soulmate. She told Evie ad Jay. All three decided they were going to accept him into the gang. From then on, the core four was the core five. Gil and Carlos got to spend more time together.

On days off, the two were at the hideout. Cuddling on Carlos' bed or sleeping on the couch. They never really seemed to sleep on the bed. Mal, Jay and Evie were amazed at how smart Gil actually was. He became useful.

There was still one more shock to come however.

They had gotten back from a tricky mission and Gil had helped out the most. Mal could honestly say she was proud of them. She said as much. Specifically telling Gil how proud she was that he'd done something useful and right.

Gil broke down. He began to cry at that. They were confused until Gil told them what it was.

"N-n-no on-one-ones   ev-eve-ever   sa-sai-sai-said   th-tha-that-that   th-the-they   we-wer-wer-were   p-p-p-pro-oud   o-of   m-m-me   b-b-bef-f-f-fore."

From then on they began to praise him more. Showing him how grateful they were that Uma had kicked him out. They told him every mission how proud they were, even if the mission failed.

If he did something that upset one of them. They didn't freak out. They just told him that it was something that made them feel bad and that it was something he shouldn't do. They never shouted or got angry.

It was amazing to finally feel like he had a family.
