NOTE: This one is about the actors (Cameron Boyce and Booboo Stewart) instead of the characters (Carlos and Jay). For Smallbean2030 I hope you enjoy it.

The first time the two actually met was on set about 2 hours before filming began.

They'd never seen each other before that. Cameron was a happy-go-lucky kinda person and Booboo was most certainly the more down-to-earth sort of guy. They were complete opposites which is why they got on so well.

The two balanced each other out and rubbed off on each other in a good way. Cameron lost his head in the clouds less and Booboo gradually learnt to become more carefree. In the end, they were happy to have each other's backs.

When the second Descendants was announced they were happy because it meant they got to see each other again. They got to spend more time together and even got to do more things as brothers.

But Booboo was scared.

He didn't know why - at least, not at first. He knew that he wanted to be around Cameron more and after a few weeks, he finally figured out what the problem was.

He was in love with Cameron.

It wasn't a problem, but it also was. It wasn't because he'd always known there was something going on between them.

However, the rest of the world would like to think it's a problem. Cameron's not gay. He's not at all interested in males. He's got a girlfriend. He's in love with someone else.

But how could it be Booboo's fault if he found a guy attractive more attractive than a gal?

It wasn't.

It wasn't one bit.

But everyone else in the world seemed to think it was. As well as the previously mentioned problems, they're working for Disney. And Disney have a policy about not having LGBTQIA+ people in their workforce.

So to put it simply, Booboo is stuck in love with a guy, working with a shit ton of homophobic assholes and has no way to solve his problem.

Does that make sense?

Yeah and it sucks.

So he decided to do what's best and just avoid Cameron. And he did. Booboo successfully avoided Cameron for nearly 4 months. All scenes between the two were filmed with Cameron's double when the two males had to be close.

Otherwise he would stay as far on the other side of the set as he could. However, everyone else noticed it because it made Cameron sad. He no longer was the happy-hippie child they'd first met and fallen in love with. Cameron missed his brother and wanted him back.

During the second film, Cameron got hurt quite badly. He got sliced by a sword when they were in training.

No one moved.

No one knew what to do.

Booboo quietly and quickly slid out of the room and called an ambulance. It came and took him in. The other thing was, Cameron's a minor meaning someone else needed to go with him.

Everyone was too busy arguing amongst themselves to realise that Booboo had gone in with Cameron. He waited and waited until he was able to see him. Cameron was going to be fine.

When he awoke the first person he saw was Booboo, asleep in the chair next to his bed and holding his hand tightly. He woke Booboo up. The boys stayed in silence for a while before Cameron spoke in a shaky voice.

"Why have you been avoiding me?"

Booboo didn't know how to answer that question. Not in words anyway. He asked.

"Can I show you?"

Cameron nodded slowly. Booboo breathed deeply and went for it. He kissed Cameron on the lips. Cameron did nothing to push him away. Instead, Booboo found himself being pulled impossibly closer to the boy he was so desperately in love with.

They pulled away from each other and leaned their foreheads together. They looked into each others eyes. Cameron then asked for his phone. Booboo reluctantly gave it to him. Cameron took it and called his girlfriend.

"Hey ... Yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't call sooner there was an emergency at work. Yeah ... no. No. I'm sorry, but I can't ... I can't love you anymore. I don't. I'm in love with someone else ... Oh. Okay then ... I guess so ... Bye then."

He then gave the phone back. He smiled his signature smile and leaned in and kissed Booboo's lips again. Pulling back only moments later. Booboo smirked and brought Cameron's lips back to meet his.
