NOTE: This one is a bit weird. People on the isle get married at around 14, so they can produce children. There is a certain magic that cannot be blocked which means same sex couples can have children in the natural process. No one tells if they get married and to who. Everyone thinks Jay isn't married, but he is. That's why people keep trying to set him up with Lonnie.
Enjoy my weirdness.
ALSO people can hide their rings using a spell. However, only one of the pair (in this case, Gil) can perform the spell.
The barrier was taken down. Now the isle livers were coming down the bridge, being welcomed into Auradon. Jay was excited to see his husband again. On the isle, people got married at around 14 so there were enough children.
No one tells you if they get married because that isn't your concern. Most people looked at Jay and assumed he wasn't married. Well, he was. What a shock that was going to be. He was going to have to tell them.
People were trying to get him with Lonnie, but he downright refused to go out with her. She didn't want him either, but that didn't stop people from trying. Jay was getting pissed off now. Evie and Mal kept making comment about his lack of love life, while Carlos was just standing with Jane. A smirk on his face as he looked at Jay.
So yeah.
Jay was getting pissed off and he knew only his husband was going to be able to calm him down. The others saw him getting pissed off and tried to rectify their mistakes. People were now avoiding them as they could practically see the annoyance rolling off Jay.
Carlos stopped first. He never really joined in, so he could forgive him. But the girls had it coming. Ben and Doug wouldn't be able to stop him when he was on a rampage. Not even the entire tourney team could stop him.
Only his lover could. There was now a giant clear space around him. At the edge of the circle were Carlos, Jane, Ben, Mal, Evie, Doug, Harry and Uma. Gil had been pushed behind Harry, so he wouldn't get hurt. Gil was trying to get past Harry and Uma, but he couldn't.
They didn't want him hurt. He was struggling trying his hardest. He remained calm. Becoming dangerously so when they wouldn't let go of him. Jay was watching them. The pissed expression still there, but seemed to be less so when he was watching them.
Jane coughed and got their attention. That was his chance. Gil threw himself forwards. Their grip broke and he cuddled Jay into him. Jay began to shake. Calming down, but now crying from relief. Relief from the pain of being separated.
Gil sank to the floor in front of all these people. Jay still tight in his grasp. He muttered things into Jay's ear, calming him down even further. Gil then kissed the boy in his arms. They pulled away as Gil whispered something else under his breath.
Their left hands glowed. Gil held up their left hands. They watched as they glowing subsided and twin rings lay on their left ring fingers. They were husbands. Who'd of guessed that? Apparently Harry and Uma as he burst out with a shout and she looked grumpy.
"Called it! Now 'and it o'er, Cap'ain."
Uma reached into her pocket and pulled out money. She handed over 6 gold coins to Harry who then proceed to put them into his own pocket. The four began to laugh as everyone stared uneasily at them.
A happy ending, even though it was unconventional.
