Why life is so cruel to me?

What did I do to deserve this?!

First Shanks, then Mihawk, then Doflamingo, after that X Drake, then Marco and now Crocodile?!

For God's sake! I'm tired of meeting big shots!

Crocodile laughed at my terrified face.  His golden hook was close to my neck and I swallowed a bit. He's too close to my liking. Dude, you don't know what a personal space is?

"And why you're nervous now?" He smirked. My god is that even a question?! A giant man with a golden hook towering over me and you're asking me why am I nervous??

"Me? Nervous? No I'm not..." I shook my head. "I'm not nervous... I'm terrified! Why are you even here?!" I screamed at him and took a step back.

"Just chilling around until I found you here." Crocodile finally pulled his hook away and I sighed in relief.

"You're not going to kill me right?" I carefully asked. "Because if you do, my soul will hunt you for the rest of your life. I won't let you live in peace."

"Nah, I'm in good mood today." Crocodile chuckled and took the cigarette out of his mouth.  "Don't try angering me girl." He waved and was going to walk away but something or rather someone caught his attention and made him stop.

Crocodile's jaw dropped a bit, when he saw who's behind me. he quickly composed himself and glared at the them.

"What are you doing here Sir Crocodile?" I heard Benn speaking. Marco, who was holding all the shopping bags glared at Crocodile darkly. "(Y/n)..." He sneered without looking away from the Ex-warlord. "behind me, now yoi." He ordered. I nodded my head and went behind him.

"What a great surprise. First I found a supernova then the first mate of the famous Akagami no Shanks: Benn Beackman. Huh, this is my lucky day." The ex-warlord laughed. "What the hell are you doing here yoi?!" Marco yelled. some villagers who were passing by looked at us with curiosity.

"I'm not here to cause troubles." Was Crocodile's answer. "Don't try anything funny. This place is officially under the protection of The red hair pirates." Benn warned.

"I see." He chuckled. "I better be on my way then." He turned around and disappeared in the crowd of people. "Phew. I almost fainted when I saw him standing in front of me." I laughed and took some of my bags from Marco. "Akagami's right. You attract a lot of troubles yoi... Heh, just like Ace." He smiled sadly and looked up. His broken smile made my eyes watered a bit.

Marco lost three members of his family and now he lost his comrades and crew members. He lost the Whitebeard pirates...

I patted his back and gave him a comforting hug. "I miss him too Marco. I really do. He's now in a better place watching over us. Don't feel sad." I whispered.

Marco was taken back when I hugged him. Then he laughed and wrapped his free hand around me, returning my embrace. "You're right (y/n) yoi." He smiled. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." We pulled away laughing. Benn walked back to us. He patted Marco's shoulder in a comforting manner and smiled down at me. "Let's have something to eat then head back to the ship. And no more troubles (y/n)."

"Aye aye Benny!" I saluted him and we went to the restaurant I saw earlier.

Some of the villagers were eyeing us while we were eating and that was quite uncomfortable. The waiter who took our orders were looking at me the whole time, he even gave me his den den mushi number!

Marco noticed the paper in my hands. He glared at the waiter before looking back at me. "What's this you're holding yoi?"

"Huh?" I snapped out of my thoughts. "You mean the paper?"

"What paper?" Benn stopped eating. He took it from my hand and opened it. "What the... Who gave it to you" He demanded.

"I won't tell you because I'm sure you'll kill the man." I chuckled. "If you won't tell me... Then I'm telling Shanks about Crocodile's accident. And you won't get any ice cream." He crossed his arms smirking in Victory while Marco laughed at my depressed state.

"It was the waiter okay! Please don't tell Shanks!" I yelled. "That's what I thought." The two men replied,  They got up and quickly went after the terrified waiter.

"Oh boy... I'm surrounded by overprotective men." I sighed in defeat. "Um... Excuse me! Could I please get ice cream?! Chocolate please!"

"Wah! I'm gonna miss you Marco!" I hugged the pineapple man tightly. "Me too (y/n) yoi. Take care and stay out of trouble." He pulled a small paper from his pocket and gave it to me. "My vivte card. In case you need my help." He ruffled my hair.

"Thank you. I gave you my Den den mushi number correct?"

"Yup. You did yoi." Marco nodded. "Akagame. Thanks for everything." The two man shook their hands.

"No problem Marco." Shanks replied. Marco grabbed his backpack and jumped up in the air. Using his devil fruit Power, His hands transformed into wings surrounded by blue flames and I watched my new friend flew back to the island.

'That was so beautiful...' I thought in awe. 'Take care Marco. Stay safe.'

"(Y/n)! Stop spacing out! Come get your lunch before Lucky roo eats everything!" Yassopp shouted from the mess hall.

"Hey!" I chuckled when I heard Lucky protests. "They're so crazy..." I whispered. I looked at the wide sea smiling. "... But I enjoy single moment with them."
