it was time for simone to go meet up with rakeem, since they lived an hour and a half from the prison she had to wake up pretty early for the visit. she did her usual morning routine, throw up, start her shower, lay out her clothes, throw up harder then get into the shower. after her shower she slid on a simple gray shirt with dusty black ripped jeans along with her yellow vans. she kissed laveah on the cheek before heading to starbucks for a quick detour.
she ordered a usual kiwi refresher with a hint of lemonade in it along with a double-smoked bacon, cheddar and egg breakfast sandwich. with the speed she was driving in within thirty minutes she was five miles away from the prison. with the time she'd known rakeem, she knew with the way she loved him and the way his way of making money was she'd end up in this situation. but of course, she'd think it would be drugs or money laundering.
but nope, instead it was statutory rape and domestic violence. no matter how upset she was and sick to her stomach, this was her life. she couldn't do anything about it even if she tried her hardest, she had two children with him, too deep in. no turning back. once she arrived, she went through the whole process of the place and was soonly in the room with rakeem. once she saw his face, she broke down in tears. he looked hurt with hope in his eyes, she'd seen him low before but never like this.please opoool
it hurt her, her love was hurt like this over false accusations. "baby!" rakeem said as he quickly grabbed the phone, smiling slightly. she sat down and grabbed her phone. "hey." she said in a lower tone as she looked down at her free arm. "so how've u been baby, really how's laveah doing." rakeem said as he stuck his hand up the beanie he had on, rubbing her hair. "i'm fine, my sickness has been a little bit better. but laveah's fine and before you ask, she's safe at home with my sister." simoné said as she rolled her eyes.
"oh, ight." rakeem said as he held his cell phone close to his cheek with a dropped expression. from what he'd known before, ryana was reckless, she had a huge history of drugs, partying and overall doing every thing girl's her age weren't supposed to be doing at fourteen to sixteen. even though since then she'd changed drastically, he still didn't trust her and didn't know if these changes. "oh don't start that, ryana is perfectly fine with her right now. listen, we can trust her." simoné said as she grabbed his hand through the lower safety grab window.
"but you fuckin know bout how she is, and you left our baby with her? foul simoné." rakeem said as he shook his head, rubbing his temples. "shutup, it's been years since you've seen her and she's changed so much. she's into spirituality and being one with herself, she's vegan and everything. she's the full reason my sickness has been better." simoné said as she sighed, rolling her eyes slowly.
"look, just give her a damn chance like i'm giving you. rather that than a daddy for her that's probably registered with being a sex offender in the next few years even if it was false." simoné scoffed. "alright damn." rakeem mumbled as he looked into simone's eyes. he was being so hypocritical and needed to be put in his place. but simoné barely had the time that day; she was getting a bit nauseous at the time.
"but baby, it's hella hard in this shit. not seeing you every damn night, nasty ass food and i miss my baby girl most of all besides you." rakeem said as he face said it all as he spoke. simoné would never want her child to see their father in jail like this, she experienced an absent jailbird father and hers weren't about to experience it too."i bet, but you outta yo damn mind if you truly think i'd bring her to this.. place." simoné said pausing before her last word, looking around the visiting room.
"fuck it, that's understandable." rakeem said as he nodded. simoné nodded back with a teethless side smile. after a quick moment of silence, rakeem groaned and rubbed his temples. "i haven't even gotten to see them tid-" rakeem was stopped in his sentence by simoné pretended to flash him, when he noticed all it was is an undershirt he rolled his eyes. "yeah nigga you thought, fuck i look like flashing a sex offender over a jail visit." she laughed.
"i love you but you wrong for that." rakeem said before the guard told them time was up. "that's not what the prison website says! bye love you." simoné echoed as she quickly walked out. she laughed and slightly cried as she sat in her car alone, she was happy he was doing fine but wasn't happy she didn't have him at home for support. she missed her man in bed, playing his loud music while making them meals but she had to wait. he already had a lawyer standing by for his official court date. which wasn't for another week. the best she could do was hope for great, and spend her time at peace.
stressing was the least she needed to do right now. so she kept it calm, and kept it pushing. she needed to focus on her babies and making it out the clear. although simoné didn't seem like the type to have shaken up experiences, she had many; too many to count if we're being exact. about two years about before they got pregnant with Laveah, they were expecting another baby, a bright little baby boy. but due to all the stress, and complications especially with all the hate she was getting from family. she lost him at five months.
it was the thing that drive her mostly to keep herself in tip top shape with this pregnancy and her last. with how great the little temporary plant based diet her sister had her on, she wanted to make it temporary; at least for the rest of her pregnancy. so far it was working perfectly and keeping her health balanced, she was so happy that at this early, she could already see her beautiful baby bump and it was glowing loud. she was so proud of herself, she was succeeding and it was like her pregnancy was shooting past in seconds.
