" Nora, tell me where Aunt Stella is. " I said in a strong voice. My tears were dried up on my cheeks. My mind was alive. For the first time in my life, I had a clear sense of vision in front of me.
I had to find my Aunt soon. And then I had to give Katherine a taste of her own medicine.
Nora's face broke out in a huge smile. Her eyes filled up with fresh tears. " You don't know how long I have waited for you to say those words or how long Stella has waited for you. "
" She made me hate Stella for years, Nora. She kept me in the dark about all the things. But now she's gonna go down. I'm gonna show her what hell looks like. But before that, I need to find Aunt Stella and... and apologize for all the hurt I have caused her. " I felt Ryan squeeze my hand encouragingly and I was grateful for his presence.
" You can't even imagine how happy she would be to finally have you in her arms, Eve. " Nora smiled sadly and I returned the gesture. I looked over at Evan to see that he was smiling into space, tears filled in his eyes. Michael had a sad smile on his face too.
My eyes drifted to Ryan's. He offered me a small loving smile and nodded his head lightly. I smiled back at him and then turned my attention to Nora.
" Stella wanted to be as close to you as possible. She wanted to always ensure that Katherine kept her promise. So she moved to New York and stayed hidden as best as she could so Katherine wouldn't find her. I don't really have her exact address, but I believe you have people to do that for you, don't you, Miss Tiana Sandford?" Nora asked with a teasing grin on her face.
My eyes widened and a surprised gasp left my lips. " How did you...?" I trailed off when Nora laughed softly. " Let's just say, you're too famous for your own good, kiddo. " I heard both Evan and Ryan chuckle at that and I simply rolled my eyes with a small smile on my lips.
"However, there is one thing you need to know to find her. " Nora added. I frowned, " And what's that? " " Stella has been living with a different last name on the records for these years just so that Katherine does not feel threatened and harm you. She goes by her husband's name which is Jefferson. " I nodded my head at the information and committed it to memory.
I stood up and Nora quickly followed. " Nora, I... I can never thank you enough for all that you did for my family. " Nora shook her head and smiled at me lovingly, " You were always like the daughter I never had, Eve. Please never hesitate to let me know whenever you want anything, I'll always be here for you. "
I nodded and pulled Nora into my arms for a tight hug. Pulling away, I looked at Jared, who was still visibly scowling at me. I smirked, " I do remember the salt giant you used to make, J. And don't forget I'm ever going to let you live that swing incident in Central Park down. Oh and also your dino nuggies obsession. Bet you got a lot of girls with those free samples you made, didn't you?" I winked at him.
