" I'm pregnant. " Mia sighed out.
I was beyond surprised at that. My eyes were almost about to pop out but I still couldn't stop myself from shrieking happily. A huge smile planted itself on my face and I threw my arms around her joyously. Mia laughed at my reaction and hugged me back tightly.
" Holy shit! This is....oh my God! I don't even know what to say. Oh geez, when did you find out? " I managed out between my happy ranting. Jenny and Sophia were visibly calmer than me so I figured Mia must have told them earlier at the house. " I was having nausea and morning sickness for almost two weeks now. I thought it was nothing but then when we were at the hotel in Portland, I almost passed out in the shower. I thought something was definitely wrong so I called Mom to ask her. She asked me to take a test just to be sure. I did and it came back positive. "
My eyes widened and I gasped, " Hold up! You mean to tell me that you've been pregnant all this while. Jesus, I risked both yours and the baby's life!" Mia shook her head quickly, " No, Eve. You didn't know. None of us did. " I sighed and nodded.
" Umm, I hate to be the one to say this but, it is Aiden's baby, right Mia?" Jenny asked in a small hesitant voice. Mia quickly nodded, " I've only been with Aiden recently, Jen. It is his. " She answered in a weak whisper. I knew what she was thinking.
" He's gonna be so mad. We aren't even officially together. " Mia whispered while burying her face in hands. I shook my head and hooked my hand under her chin to make her look at me. "Don't worry, Mia. I'm gonna whoop his ass if he denies his responsibility or if he gets mad at you. If anyone gets mad at you for this, they're gonna hear it from me! " I smiled at her and Mia giggled. " You're the best, Evie. "
" But holy shit guys, we're gonna be aunties!" Sophia shrieked happily again. I laughed and pulled all three of them in a group hug. Oops, four of them....gotta count the baby too now. "It feels so unreal, right now. " Mia laughed out. I smiled, " I know. " We all laughed again.
After spending four long hours pampering ourselves with spas and a shopping spree we all finally arrived home. Just as we got out of the car, I saw Ryan already waiting at the door for us.
I grinned and jumped into his arms making him laugh loudly. " How was your girl time, Sunflower?" He asked lovingly, planting a soft kiss on my lips. I beamed at him, " I feel so refreshed!" Ryan smiled and pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear, " Good. Now, time to meet the fam. " he winked and I laughed happily.
He took all the bags from our hands and carried them inside. I stalled behind the others a little, looking around and taking in my surroundings. It was a beautiful house with a very airy and open vibe. I stepped inside the doorway and before I could even look at anything around me, two small figures ran up to me and threw their arms around my legs. I laughed lovingly and kneeled to hug the twins properly.
" Hi, Chris. Hi, Cherry. " Both the twin beamed happily and after looking at each other for a second or two, they threw their arms around me again. I laughed and hugged them back tightly. Ryan came to stand in the doorway to the living room and his eyes lit up at seeing us. A beautiful smile curled over his features and I smiled back. " Hi, Evie. " Cheryl said in her chirpy little voice. I smiled and kissed both the kids on their heads.
