Connor was tired of crying. The amount of days he'd spent wasting his time on tears just seemed sad at this point. Why good would more tears and pain do? What was the point of it? Yet even with this mindset, he couldn't help himself from sobbing as soon as his parents had left the room.

The next few moments had been a bit of a blur as the realization slowly hit him. All he could really remember was Naba rushing over to tackle him in a hug, telling him that it was okay over and over again as he cried into her shoulder.

Eventually, after seeing Connor's parents storm out, and noticing that Naba had been gone for a while, the others decided to check up on Connor, only to see the heartbreaking scene before them. Instantly, Kevin hurried over to the two, and Naba allowed him to take her place in comforting Connor.

"What happened?" Kevin asked Naba, after managing to calm Connor down a bit.

"They started to talk bad about you, so Connor defended you. But when his parents started to tell him that being gay was wrong, he told them off for being shit parents and... well, they disowned him."

Kevin could feel his own heart break as Naba's words hit him, and he wrapped his arms tighter around Connor. "Oh my god... that-that's terrible!"

"I told them that they never cared about me," Connor spoke up after finally regaining his breath. "I told them so many things I can never take back. And now look at what happened!"

"Con... you did the right thing by telling them how terrible they were for you. You didn't deserve to be with them after all that's happened."

"But now I've got no family!" Connor cried. "I-I've got nowhere to go. I don't even have any of my things with me!"

"Connor, listen to me," Kevin said, lifting Connor's head up to meet his eyes. "No matter what, we will always be here for you. You are not alone."

"We'll make sure that you're alright," Chris piped in. "We'll figure out something."

"And you can always ask us for anything," Naba said. "Never be afraid to ask."

Connor's lip quivered as he glanced between all of his friends, before nodding slowly. "Thank you..."

"No need to thank us, we're just trying to be good friends," Chris told him.

"Well you guys are the best friends. Who knows what would've happened if I didn't have you guys in my life..."

"Let's not think about that," Kevin hushed him, rocking Connor slightly in his arms. "For now, let's just try to stay happy before we have to deal with the, er, bigger problems."

"Yeah... that sounds nice," Connor nodded slowly, wiping his eyes. "Do you mind if we all just sit here for a bit?"

    "Not at all," Kevin said.

"But what about the nurses? We're technically not all supposed to be in here," James noted.

"We will deal with that if they even find out," Naba said, taking a seat next to Connor's bed. "Right now, spending time with friends is most important."

Chris grabbed a nearby remote and turned the small TV that was sitting in the corner on, before surfing through the channels. "Con, look! The Phantom of the Opera's on!"

Connor glanced over at the screen, allowing a small smile to form on his face. "I love this movie."

"I know you do. We should watch it together!"

They all got settled in the chairs and on the bed as they huddled around the TV to watch the movie together. Quite a few of them got bored with the movie halfway through, but continued watching it anyways, mostly just to make Connor happy-- who was quietly singing along with the soundtrack as the film continued to play.

After two more hours of opera-singing, the movie ended, and a majority of them decided to leave for home. They all gave Connor a small goodbye, before heading out of the hospital, leaving Kevin to be alone once again with Connor.

A moment of silence passed, with Connor still cradled in Kevin's arms, before the brunet broke the silence. "How are you feeling, Con?"

Connor was quiet for a few seconds, before finally taking a deep breath. "Not the greatest... there's just so much going on in such a short amount of time. First you're going to be leaving for two years and now I don't even have a home... it's just all too much."

"We'll figure something out for you," Kevin reassured him. "I'd let you stay with me again, if it weren't for this stupid mission that I have to go on."

"I can't believe that your parents are forcing you to do that. I guess that both of our parents are pretty sucky."

"Yeah," Kevin laughed slightly, leaving them back in silence once more as he let his thoughts drift. Suddenly, he snapped his head up as an idea came to him and turned towards Connor. "Con... how attached are you to this place?"

Connor furrowed his eyebrows at him. "The hospital? I don't see how anyone could be attached to that-"

"No, no, not the hospital. I mean the city. Like- Salt Lake. How attached are you to it?"

"Not very much, especially since the whole deal with my parents... why?"

"This is going to sound crazy, but what if we run away together?"

Connor stared at him. "R-run away? Could we even do that?"

"I-I don't know. But just think about it! It would solve all of our problems. I wouldn't have to go away for two years, and we could find a place to stay together!"

"It does sound pretty nice... but where would we even go? How would we get there? Plus, I'm still in the hospital."

"We could go wherever we want to go! And I don't know how exactly we'll get there, but I'm sure we could find a way. And I don't have to leave until the day after you get let out of the hospital. It's perfect."

"This is crazy..." Connor said, yet couldn't help but smile at the idea.

"But it could work. We could be free from all these strings attached to this city, and find someplace together."

Connor smiled softly as he took Kevin's hand in his. "To find our somewhere..."
