Later on in the evening, the sky had finally grown dark. Ellia hadn't actually gotten any real sleep, and was instead laying flat on top of the seat of the speeder, staring up at the stars that were appearing above her. Her eyes danced over them, noting just how many there were, and how beautiful each one of them seemed. She found herself absentmindedly wondering if anyone had ever visited them all.

"All right, suns are down." Toro's voice came from the dune, breaking her out of her daze, "Time to ride."

Ellia's head perked up as she slowly shifted herself up onto her side. She watched carefully as the younger hunter approached them. Propped up against the speeder that she was laying on, was the unmoving form of the Mandalorian, his arms crossed tightly across his chest.

Toro walked up to him, pausing inches away from his boots.

"Come on. Wake up." he coaxed, slowly tilting his head to the side. "Look at you. Asleep on the job, old man." he mocked.

Ellia found herself frowning at that.

But Toro, evidently, was just getting started. He looked up at Ellia, smirking, and she delivered a heavy sigh in exasperation in response. Forced to watch as the younger hunter whipped out his blaster from its holster, seeing if the Mandalorian would react

As she pushed herself off the speeder, Toro twirled his blaster playfully, pointing it at the hunter once more.

The beskar helmet suddenly turned towards him,

"You done?"

"Yep" Toro answered quickly, putting his gun back in his holster, averting his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was just, uh...ya know..just uh, waking you up. Come on."

"Get on your bike" the Mandalorian ordered. "We're riding as fast as we can. Towards those rocks." he explained walking around to the back of his speeder, grabbing a few things out of his pack.

"That's your plan?" Toro sounded, "She'll snipe us right off the bikes."

In response, the Mandalorian tossed him something, which he had scrambled to catch.

"It's a flash charge" he explained flatly. He then turned to his left to toss Ellia one as well. "We alternate shots. It'll blind any scope temporarily. Combine that with our speed and we got a chance."

"A chance?" Toro asked incredulously.

"Hey, you wanted this." the Mandalorian pointed out. "Get ready."

Seconds later, the odd group exploded over the ridge, heading straight for the distant mountains of rock. They tore through the sands, faster than Ellia could even comprehend.

Letting go of one of the speeder handles, the Mandalorian shot the first flash forward. Ellia had ducked her head down, but the plan must have worked as the shot that fired down at them from the top of the ridge went wide, missing them entirely.

They pressed forward a bit more, forcing the speeders to go as fast as they could handle, and soon the Mandalorian turned his head over his shoulder towards Ellia.

"Now!" he shouted.

Ellia clenched her jaw tightly, lifting herself up off of the bike a bit in order to fire the second flash charge forward. Just in time to, as another shot came their way, just narrowly missing their bike.

Launching themselves over another dune, Toro had attempted to fire his flash charge, but failed as he was jostled by the impact of his speeder landing on the other side of the hill. The misfiered charge fell from his hands, and rolled across the sand.
