Cate left about two hours ago and I was casually reading, to be exact I was reading the price of salt. I was planning on reading it before shooting anyways since it's written out of thereses point of view and I can project a lot of it on my acting. I was about halfway through the book when a unknown number called me.
I picked up.

"Hello? this is Rooney who is it?"

"Oh hi Rooney, it's me, Todd Haynes. I just wanted to check on you and give you a few informations."

"Todd, how nice of you to call."

"Do you maybe got a pen and paper?"

"Oh no it's fine I got it in my mind."

"Okay well..."

He was talking on and on about schedules, when we will shoot and who is gonna attend these few days.

"I heard you already met Cate?"

Cate. That wonderful woman with the stunning eyes, an award winning actress who is probably better in acting than anybody in this world.
I noticed how I wasn't answering so I quickly thought of something I could say.

"Rooney?"

"Ehm yes, yes I did, I did indeed meet cate yes."

I could feel todd smiling at my attitude on the other end of the line and felt a little embarrassed. That's gonna be like that all the time whilst shooting. Great.

"Well we'll meet on saturday for the first rehearsal to talk about the exact scheduling, how we want the movie to come out and how the characters will behave."

"Okay, got that, thanks. What time?"

"3 pm should be fine."

"Well see you then."

"See you."

And with that he hung up.
I made myself another tea and went back to the book. It was thursday so I haven't got this much time left to read it through and take notes.

I guess I fell asleep because when I woke up again it was already getting dark outside.
I searched for my phone so I could see what time it is but I couldn't find it. Only after I got a message I found it laying under my bed, I had absolutely no idea how it got there.
It was 9:20 pm.
I unlocked my phone to read the message.

unknown: Hey I just wanted to text you so you       got my number :) xx

That's nice but who is this?

unknown: Oh I'm sorry, this is cate :) The cate you met today and barely got out a whole sentence while talking to her.

Oh hi cate! Yeah you don't need to remind me I remember quite well. Where do you got my number from?

Cate♡︎ :: I can imagine... well I got it from todd he was so nice and gave it to me. ;)

Oh, I guess my contacts are not save anymore haha.

Cate♡︎ : No that's not how I meant it he gave it to me because we were working on a movie.

Haha it's fine I was just joking around. :) Anyways I'm going to get to sleep now before I can't get any when we will start to shoot and all the rehearsals. Goodnight xx

Shit. I'm not gonna sleep the whole night this is way too exciting. I went to my balcony to get some fresh air.
I opened the glass door and stepped out. A cold wall hit me right in the face, but in some way it was relaxing.
The fresh air calmed me down and the beautiful view on New York was breathtaking. I sat down on my metallic chair, they had beautiful swirls on them which looked like wine rebs.

The slowly darkening sky made me think about cate's pretty eyes, really, I can't stop thinking about these eyes.
Thinking about the project with cate made me so excited and happy, even though we haven't even started.
How could I ever say no to such an opportunity? I was also a little scared, no one ever just works with their idol together. She will see all the things I do wrong, that she can be much better, of course she's will do them better, SHE'S CATE BLANCHETT.

I felt my eyelids getting heavier so I decided to finally go to sleep.
