Why Tui?
Why did you have to make a love triangle?
Just why?
Alright, now that we've got that over with, let's get into the nasty details of Winterwatcher and why absolutely NO ONE should ship it.
Here we are, book 6. There's this gentle little NightWing who has these secret powers but has to go to a school, blah, blah, blah. And then BOOM! Here's this freaken shiny and scary IceWing sitting there threatening to slowly and painfully kill her if she eats a creature that she saved.
Hello Winter.
Just by taking a quick peek in his mind, Moon already knows that he absolutely hates NightWings, and he's got a wack past, involving some sort of hailstorm. (hee hee!)
And then an evil wizard appears in Moon's mind, they all make friends, the school blows up, yadi yada. And then Winter walks up to her while she's still injured and disoriented, and freaken blackmails her! Right in front of all her friends!!!
Long story short, she reveals her secret, everyone leaves her, Turtle is Turtle, Qibli is Qibli, they fight a violent battle, and then they leave.
And then we get to Winter Turning.
And Winter likes Moon.
Even after all of those horrible things he's done to her.
Again: why???
I just have to say, that Winter is way too cold for Moon, (pun intended). If they were to get married, (Do dragons even get married?) then he'd get angry one day and shatter her poor heart. They'd probably be one of those married couples that leave home and disappear forever. And then Winter becomes like Prince Arctic, and we're just reliving history.
I get that some people love the enemy to lovers stories, and I get that it's symbolic to have a NightWing and an IceWing fall in love, but it just won't work!
Winter already looses his cool and yells at Moon sometimes, now imagine what it'd be like if they're actually a thing?
It would not turn out well at all!
And this chapter is running long already, so I'm not gonna continue, or else I'll get carried away.
Thank you.
