I am so tied with this.
I love Cleril and Turtlejou. But... Pertle would be so adorable!
Peril and Turtle are as opposite as they get. Peril is fiery and violent and crazy and all that. And then there's Turtle. He's quiet, mumbly, and as Peril describes him, puddle-like. They are as different as they come.
And then there's the fact that when everyone else (besides Clay of course,) doesn't accept Peril, Turtle does. He let's her eavesdrop with him, he doesn't scream and run away from her, and then they go on their quest together.
They start interacting like friends!
But the question is: would they be good lovers?
To be quite frank with you, I totally believe so. As you have most definitely figured out, I am a sucker for lovers with opposite personalities. And Pertle definitely fits in that category.
They only problem is, (like I've mentioned before,) Cleril and Turtlejou are just so adorable as well! How the heck am I supposed to choose!?
I've decided that I don't want Pertle to be canon. If I could choose, I'd keep Cleril and Turtlejou canon. But Pertle is a great fanon ship, and I'm definitely gonna be writing a lot of Pertle fanfics.
