Tbh, I don't think about this ship all that often.
I mean, Gill did die before we even realized who he was. *cough cough* murdereded by his daughter *cough cough*.
But Coral really did seem to love him in her strange, twisted sorta way. And from what we can tell, he was a good king.
He's also kind of mentioned in that one winglet book, (crap, I can't remember what it's called. The one featuring Deathbringer? What is it?) even if it was only a short little scene. Not much about the ship itself though.
Lemme look up his personality real quick...
Oh right.
He was super peaceful, refusing to fight in Scarlet's arena and convincing the others to follow. And that's why the deprived him of water, drove him into insanity, and eventually pitted him up against his long lost daughter.
Riiiiiight...
So I guess they're kinda adorable. Gill being all gentle and peaceful and Coral being all... well... Coral.
The more I think about it, the more I'm wanting a winglets book for this. A backstory for their love and relationship and whatever. More about them, y'know?

Anyway, it's not like they get much screen time, so as adorable as they could be, I still don't have much of an oppinion on them.
But I still want a winglet book.
