I'm a little left in the dust with this ship, to be honest.
We start off book eleven and I'm super skeptical that I'm not gonna love arc three as much as I loved the other two. We're seeing through the eyes of this shiny blue dragon who's living as a slave and who's terrified of tree dragons and breaking the rules.
And then BOOM!
Blue's running from the law, his sister's gone, and all the HiveWings are possessed. And then he meets a non-possessed HiveWing who saves his life before she even knows his name. But that's not the strange part.
By the end of the book, they're the most fluffy ship in the entire book series!
That was the fastest developing ship in the history of Wings of Fire!
I'm not saying that that's a bad thing per se, I'm just saying that it was really fast and it kind of left me sitting confused at the end of book 11.
Since it was the fastest developing ship, does it mean they were meant for each other and will live the rest of their happy little lives with each other? Or does it mean that they're too good to be true and they took it too fast and they'll end up fighting and break up later?
Truthfully, I have no idea!
That being said, I like Blicket. It's adorable and lovable and all that jazz.
But the thing is, it doesn't fit the opposites attract criteria that I absolutely love. They're a little too similar to become one of my favorite ships. I feel like in order to have a beautiful, divine ship, the two lovers much have some polar opposite traits. And yes, they can't be completely opposite; so much so that they never agree and end up fighting all the time, but they still have to have different flaws.
And well... Blicket is teetering on the edge of that.
And maybe... just maybe...
...Blue is meant for someone else. (I'll get more into that in the later chapters.)
But either way, Blicket is adorable. It's the fastest developing ship. I'm kind of on the fence about it. I feel like my friend would disown me if I told her that. And I'm a little confused about it's developing period and what not.
Thank you.
